OT - My BD 12's menstral cycle -- for 9 1/2 weeks off & on?

CowGirl's picture

I am wondering if this has ever happened to anyone or their BD or SD.

My BD12 started her cycle (1st time) last fall in October. All was normal. In February, my BD started her cycle on the 20th. It has been light and will go for days, then off for 2-3 and back on again. No cramps, no issues & not heavy. I took her to the doctor around the 25th of March. She had blood tests and what not and they say all looks normal. They said it is not uncommon for this to happen.

We are going on 9 1/2 weeks now. Has this ever happened to anyone or know anyone it happened to?

12 Traits of an Abusive Relationship

CowGirl's picture

I thought this was a good article & wanted to share!! This was totally my Ex Husband ... glad i had gotten out!!!

An abuser is typically:

1. Charming. This person quickly smothers the other with gifts and praise. He/she immediately pushes for an exclusive relationship using phrases such as “I can’t live without you” or “I’ll kill myself if you leave.” A clear indication something is wrong.

I need advise STAT--- please

I am so torn up right now. My BD12 has been with her Dad (he lives across the US from me) since July 2nd for her summer visit. BD is due to come home in 10 days. BD12 called me 2 nights ago and as serious as a heart attack - wants to stay there and try it. All i could say was: I am not open to that right now. I know all she heard was NO. I talked with her Dad and he says it's want she wants and i am being controlling and difficult. I was totally caught off guard. I can't handle this. I knew this day would come and i am trying to be understanding.

I think i get it now!! I really need some input on this one ... I may be off base?

I saw a statement from a fellow SM on the Stepmom magazine site:

"He doesn't have to choose between his kids and me, but he does need to make a conscious effort to include me and to build "our family" instead of trying to fit me in to his old family."

We have a Wii / game issue. Your thoughts are much appreciated!

BF had a Wii he had bought for the skids before we met. When we all moved in together (2 1/2 yrs ago) i have only seen it about 3 times - SD12 takes it & keeps it at BM's. SS14 has purchased an Xbox with his own $ and could care less about the Wii (the girls are not allowed to touch HIS xbox) my BD11 has wanted animal crossing for a year & a half. Last Christmas BF said to buy it for BD11 & i said we didn't have a Wii. BF said yes we do.
