:? I was given primary custody of my 5 year old grandson on 6-20-10. the judge set a court date to revisit the case. he give myself and the other party very strict orders to follow and not to break any of them. We went back to court on 8-16-10 my grandsons attorney ask for it to be continued Sept 13th this month. He is also asking for involentary dismissal. My attorney said we had to start the whole entire case over for perment custody, and lots more money too. I didn't have it so he signed off 9-3-10 on my case.

I feel so alone

without my DH. I hate when has to go away for business. I know I should be able to cope without him, but in this house without him, I feel like an outsider.

I posted earlier that I don't want the skids in my bedroom. I feel violated when they walk into my bedroom because it's the only space I have to myself - or I think it should be.

DH and priorities

I am so pissed I can hardly see. Today is DH's birthday. I have a nice present that I was ready to give him first thing in the morning. I wake up to find he is gone and have an email from him informing he is out playing ball. WTF on a Saturday? I call him no answer. He calls me back an hour later and tells me he is out playing ball with his son, and will stay there to have breakfast. Then he asks, "do you have any plans"? F*cking ass, yes I have plans but I guess I will make some new ones now.

Update: Crazy MaGoose

To all those who have been following my blog for the past few days, just an update....
Wednesday I see a psychiatrist and FH insists on coming with in case he advises me to leave him (FH) and he can punch his lights out! - we heard from someone else that this Dr advised her to leave her husband. I am not too worried because I think it would be extremely unprofessional for him to do that.

I have signed up for a yoga class which starts this Tuesday and I am looking forward to that.

Nitwits Latest Ploy!

LONGTIME SM's picture

H had too much to drink a few days ago and ends up calling SS 35 unfortunately. SS 35's end of the conversation was a repeat of exactly what it has been since H's mother died going on 3 years ago now. What was SS 35 going to inherit, berating his father for not doing enough from him - his mother did more for him than H did(money handouts), complaining about not getting enough handouts when H's mother and grandmother died, complaining about not being treated the same as minor BDs, telling us how to raise minor BDs ----- and on and on.......

Is SO defensive about their kid/s? Are you about yours?

Another post got me thinking and I didn't want to hijack it so...

How does your SO react to you laughing when their kid does something stupid? How do you react when your own kids do something stupid? And how does your SO react when your kids do something stupid? Wow, now that I wrote it out it sounds confusing.

A couple of examples from my very 'special' family:

Any advice?

I am a SM to a 10 almost 11 year old. She is a sweet girl but is spoiled rotten from both her mom, SD and dad. She is an only child with her mom. Her mom is very insecure. Later on they got divorced and i got together with him. We have two girls together. I also have a son from a previous marriage. His dad is much stricter than I am and so there are not behavior problems with him, yet? Every time the Sd come back to our house, she breaks the rule in our home. But my partner thinks it is ok because her mother helped or did it with her. Example, no fake nails she's 10.
