I get to move with no bios OR skids around!!!

We have my bios FT because their dad just walked away. He has called perhaps 6 times in the last 11 years. We have 3 of the skids FT as BM only ever wanted the oldest and the others cramp her style. She lives far but used to be close and never took them.

We are moving YET AGAIN in 2 weeks and EVERYONE UNDER 18 WILL BE GONE!!! I am so, so happy. BM is taking the skids and my bios are either at camp, vacationing with friends or at grandma's!

I do have to put up with the skids bitching about packing but I will not have to drive 6 hours with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 7 kids!

No more

I just do not want to live like this anymore. Captive in the bedroom in a crappy house because we need so many freaking bedrooms. Trapped in suburban hell with zero life outside the freaking 'family'.

Here is why

Dear skids,

You are right, I have been saying 'no' a lot this week. I know you are upset when you ask why and I always say 'because I am the adult in charge'. So here are a few real reasons:

-because you dropped your brand new $700 phone in the pool after being told to not take it to the pool at all

-because you knelt with your knee on your brothers neck until he pretty much passed out

-because you continue to lie and steal every chance you get. Think I didn't notice you suddenly had $20 and I didn't?

That is NOT a break

*sigh*

We are moving across the state to the same town as my parents. My mother is about to wet herself with excitement. I am...taking it one day at a time. Yesterday she was about to jump out of her skin with this 'great' idea.

She wants DH, myself, and all 7(!) of the kids to go to their(very small) house once a week where they will cook and we will all play games together. This she says is to give me a break.

First, I do not cook on Saturday nights. DH and I eat out then either go out or watch a movie in our room. I do not have to see skids. That is a break!

Not my kid!

The pediatrician's office called me a few weeks ago about SS12's account. Had an insurance issue. I was confused when they called and assumed they were calling about my daughter's insurance as it is always a hassle. When I figured out it was for SS I laughed and said I would tell DH. I told her I was stepmom and did not deal with SS12's health stuff. End of call.

You know what BM? STFU just STFU

Backstory: BM lives 3 very large states away and sees the skids only when DH pays for their travel. She has never paid CS nor changed her plans to see them or call them. Every time she does see them she tries to get money out of DH for the visit or suddenly has a life threatening emergency which means she cannot see them.

Oh I can't wait for the sobbing

I called the skids in yesterday to tell them that because they(supposedly, hopefully) will be with their mother on father's day that we will celebrate father's day this Sunday.

SS12(always the ass) gets really upset and starts in about how their mom will help them do something and it is her job and oh how wonderfully glorious the mother is! Yeah, she never did anything for father's day when they were married why not start now?
