Really, after 18 months you decide to care?!

DH and I have had custody of SS14 and SS11 for a year now, although SS14 came to live with us about 18 months ago. SS14 was failing every class with no consequences at home when he came to live with us. He passed all his classes the year he lived with us and ended the first semester this year with one F in science because he missed some labs and wasn't allowed to make them up. We have busted our asses to get him caught up, including paying $300/month for a math tutor because he tested two grades behind when he came to live with us.

DH and I have been married almost 4 years and together 6. In October, SK13 moved in with us. In February, SK10 moved in with us. BM got tired of hearing them say that they wanted to live with us, so now we have full custody. BM was committed to a pysch ward last summer and it seems that me calling her out in an email about all her crap and lack of parenting was just what we needed to get the SK's out of her custody! BM now has boys EOW. SK's are doing great with us, but the trouble comes a few days before going to BM's and usually a day after coming back.

When does CS offically stop being paid to BM? Is there a general guideline-I understand it's probably based on which state you live in, but was just curious. I'd like to start a countdown... Smile

Here we go again. I'm fairly new to this site, so let me give you some background. My dh and I have been married for just over 2 years, together for almost 5. I have a SS8 and a SS11. We do not have any children of our own...not for a lack of trying (we've had 4 miscarriages in the last 2 years). We have a solid marriage...accept for the SS's.
