Besides being a great place to vent and get advice and compare our crazy step life, I've also found another use for STalk. I'm a lurker, so when I read up on posts that detail bad behavior and mannerisms from skids, caused by crap parenting on behalf of BMs and BFs, I casually bring them up to my DH and say things like, "Oh, I'm so glad you would never let the kids slip on bedtimes/manners etc". DH was a self-admitted Disney dad and had no problem with it until I came along. Slowly but surely I've turned him around, especially since BS was born, and step talk was a huge part of that.
