SS stubbornness with stupid car

My  SS is 19. Son of my SO. his driver's license address has our home address, however he does not live here. he bought a 1973 camaro and refuses to get insurance for the car. I'm afraid if he causes an accident or harm, we will be liable. I have requested in many occasions for him to get insurance or change his address on his driver's license  to my SO.

It's so confusing... and it rankles!!

I keep telling my SO to let SS19 do his online things on his own - like signing up for classes in Community College, of any of his things that need to be done online. The other day I saw SO (as usual) doing some College stuff for SS19, so I opened my piehole and said: let him do it. SO got irked and another battle began.

Can't even vent anymore about SS

So 7 years asking for some house courtesy - pick up your stuff, wash your dish, do some kind fo chore - since the SS twins were 13. one is off to college - away. The other, SS19 now, lingered around and is living between houses, pretending he is a grown up independent tough guy ugh!! He thinks that living between the houses make him sooo manly and indepedent. He has a weekend job as a bouncer in a nightclub. Barely goes to community college and is all over the place. Every semester he drops classes and changes minor.
