Bitch eating crackers...

   I'm burning with a low blue flame and am using every bit of personal restraint possible to keep me from saying something to the c*ck vulture that my husband tried to make an honest woman out of. 

   I may just be in ''bitch eating crackers" mode where I'm just hating on everything about her because of the recent incident regarding my stepson's out of state graduation and potentially having to stay under the same roof ( there's a blog...) or my nefarious concerns may just be legitimate.

 I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't.

Back story:

My stepson is finishing up his 5th year of college for a liberal arts degree at a grossly overpriced out of state school that his mother helped him choose without any input from my husband.  She hasn't contributed a cent to this post secondary education, although she could afford to, and my husband ultimately ended up covering the entire cost himself even though his ex acts like Mother of the Year at any opportunity that she gets...

BM feels the need to advocate for the adult steps...

  My husband's children are adults and their parents have been divorced for 15 years. Both in their last year of college, both seasoned solo international travelers and both perfectly capable of asking their father for whatever it is that that happen to want at the moment, so why is it that their mother feels the need to advocate for her adult children with their father and insert herself into the relationship between him and them?

Today, I had the day off of work due to the weather and normally, I work until 6 pm. Around 3 o'clock, the phone rings and I hear my husband's adult daughter's voice  on the answering machine, telling him to pick up, that she's returning his call. He immediately jumps up and runs obediently to the phone and starts speaking to her in this overly sweet voice that's so much different than the tone that he speaks to me in...
