I don't get it.
DH has a bad habbit of guilty parenting. I understand it, I had the urge to do so when I got divorced, but I wouldn't let myself. I've had numerous conversations with him about it, why it's not a good thing to do, the outcome if he keeps doing it, and this last weekend it hit home.

Because it's my carefree time.
It almost never fails. When ever my children are with their dad we try to make plans to go and do things together and have some fun. For whatever reason, Inbred feels she deserves more time to herself than anyone. A few weeks ago, we had plans, actual plans that were made with a group a month in advance. So of course, as I walk in the house I hear DH talking to Inbred about darling Princess Pisspants. Oh how she misses her daddy. She's going to cry if she doesn't get to see her daddy.

A big buncha hell no
It has been a while since the two youngest skids were here. The two older have been her with out them a few times. During the time between visits from the SD and SS7 my furbabies have grown alot. SS9 and SS12 have been around them twice, and of course they are always around my bios. They are not in any way mean or bad dogs. They'll walk up to who ever we let in the house, sniff them and lick them alot. They are each around 40 lbs but think they are teacup size. But, again never have they lunged, bit, growled, or even barked at anyone we let in our house.

Rose tining Part 2
I know this is petty on my part, but every time DH gets a glimps of how skids really are and his eyes clear up a bit it makes me feel good. More so that he sees I'm not just being the Evil Stepmonster they like to make me out to be.
This one instant happened while the skids were with us ALL FREAKING SUMMER. This was the time I said nope, I'm done trying.

Chest pains have started.
It is skid weekend, and I'm already dreading this. I will be spending much time in my room looking for things to reorganize. Watching the game this weekend?? I'd like to sure, but SD doesn't like football, it's dirty and for boys. I use to love my little pony when I was a kid, now every time I see one I want to send it to the glue factory just to be a bitch.
Oh well. It's only 2 days right? I can do this.
Hope everyone has a good peaceful weekend. God bless all.

Queen trumps Princess
I recently purchased a new car. My very first new car. When I drive it, it makes me feel like I'm 16, just got my DL and my parents gave me a car for my birthday.
Going and picking up the two youngest skids is never enjoyable, but it made me even more anxious in my new car. They destroyed the back seat of my old car. My kids would leave trash here and there and sometimes their school books or a wrapper but nothing too bad and when I saw it they would always clean it up.

Rose tinting clearing up: Part 1
There's always been something odd between my BS9 and SS12. Some type of tension that I couldn't explain. Well, a few weeks ago it was all made very clear.
My BS9 is a very athletic boy. Any sport he tries he can do fairly well. That's all due to his dad, ex military, heavy believer in working out. BS9 still gets up at 5:45 every morning to do his push ups, sit ups, and jogging in place for a few minutes because it's "Better than coffee"

Am I heartless?
My previous blog was all about why I began disliking my skids. Well, mainly three of them, and now I really only have problems with two of them. Occasionally the OSS gets on my nerves but for the most part I would have to say he's a pretty good kid. SD, and SS9 are the real problems.
I love my DH, I know I didn't clarify much in my last post but he's not the evil man I accidentaly made him out to be. He does have a tendency to let his kids off the hook more than mine, and I've that it won't be tolerated. If his kids get off with a warning than so do mine.

I tried...Do you expect me to be a begging dog???
When my husband and I got married in 2012 I tried my best with his children. I wanted to like them and wanted them to like me so much. And for a while I really felt like our blended family was a happy one. My kids and his kids got along great together, we had family day at the beach or park and for about a minute seemed like some ABC Family movie about coming together with love and understanding.
Then..it all turned to hell in a handbasket.
