Then SD16 tells me BM is thinking of coming to Canada next Christmas. She is currently living in Italy. SD hasn't seen BM for over a year now as BM can't afford the airfare and/or time - despite the profit she made from the sale of her house - apparently she needs that for new house etc.

She is talking of renting a cottage nearby.

I just said that it would be cheaper for her to pay for SD to visit her.

Im starting not to like my skids they lie, steal, whine and cry all the time. BM has no dicipline at her house and the skids are more than happy to bring that up when they get punished at ours. Sorry had to get that out.

i ask because ss and i get along really well. he is almost 5. Most times when i find myself aggravated its because he is being a normal little boy, and is doing something like running up and down the stairs when ive told him our stairs are not a toy. He has bad table manners. but he his raised by trash 50% of the time so i know to expect that no one has really mad an effort to teach this child how to act respectable in public. However, I really dont disengage about anything when it comes to ss.

So I pulled out the new court ordered placement schedule and the holiday "rotation" that we got this past Friday and BM is already saying she "can't do it". I realized based on this "agreement", BM will be scheduled to have the skids on New Years Eve and New Years Day. Previous to court, BM had stated that she would have the skids on New Years Day (but not New Years Eve). I (being the devious little devil I am) count out the schedule to realize that .....TADA!!!! BM is scheduled to work on New Years Eve (she works 24 hr shifts as an emt.)

I have that angry pit in my stomach and shaky feeling right now and need to vent. Just got off the phone with DH. As we speak, he is with SD9 at a hair salon where she is getting highlights. She's 9. I said "you're kidding?!". He said "no". "She wanted something different".

There is no WAY IN HELL a child of mine would get highlights, lowlights whatever!!!

I totally think this is a bad idea. This kid ALREADY is into her looks, clothes...on and on.

So, I calmly said "I have to go, have a good day today".

Wow...a post that has nothing to do with step-demon (sd14), who has actually been okay this time around. This has to do with her idiot father, my DH (which today stands for DumbsHit). Seriously DH, I want to borrow a basketball players hands to strangle you! The only reason I can't wait for step-demon to leave is because her "father" is making me crazy. Otherwise, I'd be sorry to see her go back to UberSkank in a few days.

After talking to my DH last night, I don't ever think we will have a good relationship with his children. They are such a source of disappointment to him that just when he gives them the benefit of the doubt, once again comes sorrow. YSD constantly wanting to change plans whether holiday plans or not is a real kick in the pants for him. I'm married to a "clam" and he won't open up to me that much on what he's thinking or feeling.

I have him for six whole days!! So excited...

Don't know how much I'll be on. I got him for 6 days but NOT a lot of alone time so I'm going to grab what I can!!

The kids are with us for a week of winter break.

SD11 got a sore throat and seemed to be coming down with something, so DH and I have been pumping her with Vit C and hot soup and she's been feeling better. She said it to me and I can see it because she is back to her normal self 100%. Vit C works wonders BTW.

Anyway, apparently she had called her mom and told her about feeling sick. Not a problem at all. So her mom calls everyday to check on her. I'm home with the kids while DH is at work.

Well my selfish 24 y.o. SD continues to take from her father w/carefree abadon and DH continues to give her whatever she wants.
