DH is on his merry way to take home SS to BM. BM just called to tell DH that there is a major storm where she is at. Never in all the years has she EVER met him half way to retrieve her lil brat. I am so happy that I get the full day & part of the nite to myself. Yes, its that far away. This was one of the most inexpensive vacation weeks spent here....it helped that I was home to monitor the spending. Now, the real vacation begins......

You know I had a lot of comments on the last post about the pee, but the pee and cleaning up doesn't bother me as much as being ignored and shoved aside when it comes to making rules and controlling the ss11 with a little discipline. He has his Dad so much wrapped up in guilt that DH cannot see clearly. The fake crying bouts, only I can see this. At first I thought I was going crazy and second guessed myself. Then I realized after about 2 years that it's not me, I am a nice step parent, I make cookies, organize activities, etc. etc. etc. But I will not tolerate bullcrap.

Ah, this is what happens when a BM doesn't want the Bio-Father involved as she wants to be her daughter's friend...and allows the daughter to lie to her father, to have little if any contact, etc...

So I see this today in my husband's daughter's boyfriend's myspace...

Well DH was not amused at YSD asking to do laundry over here Christmas Eve. He doesn't want her here long, nor do I. He told me to let her know this house isn't a laundromat and since she changed plans on us AGAIN, she could wash her clothes at her grandmother's house 3 hours away from here. I made sure to let YSD she has pretty much caused a huge stink in our holiday plans and I hope it's worth it as she'll be getting a cold reception here Christmas Eve. I told her to quit asking for favors and stay the hell away from calling or texting us until she is to show at 4 p.m.

So here we are at the Holidays, His X dropped off the kids this morning at 8:00 am. He got in last night from a business trip at 6:00, was awake about 30 minutes, stayed up working on his computer the entire night before, therefore when flight came in yesterday he was exhausted. So our only evening along after his being gone was spent with him sleeping on my lap.

Hey ladies, i wanted to post something i put on another site...i know we are here to vent about BM's but i wanted to switch it up this mornign to see what the responses are....MY DH says i am in my sexual prime because i seem to want sex daily, you all know loves it because he is a man...but my question is, Is there such a thing as sexual prime and how much is too much, all the book i read state that having sex is healthly so i want to stay healthy....LOL....chime in..

Quick little post: my SS5 has been having "nightmares" every night, since his brother has been refusing (with our support) to share a tiny twin bed with him. They have bunk beds and his brother is right there, but having a twin mattress to himself seems to be causing some massive problems with SS5. He claims that he has nightmares unless SS11 is sleeping in the same bed, but we have supported SS11 and have them sleep in their own beds. The thing is that every morning, like clockwork, SS5 comes into our bedroom and claims that he has had a nightmare and climbs into bed with us.

I am appalled, yet intrigued by most of these posts. These are true and honest feelings here and to have a place to express them is priceless. I feel that while it is good to explore the shadow side of your ego, it is also good to know that emotions are formed by thoughts. What if the original thought was different. I'm not talking about avoiding reality, I'm refering to the strong feelings of dislike toward children. To recognize selfishness, rudeness, and all of the other personality flaws that are used to describe these children, it is vital to know that these traits all lie within us.

DH's brother called last night to talk with DH (they are very close)anyway he wasn't home so his brother and I had a conversation and we got on the topic of Skids(he has SD16) he flat out told me to forget my skids they were a write off, and they weren't worth my time and to concentrate on my own children. He and his SD16 went through a rough time for a little while but things are good now, but what I am dealing with, and have been dealing with for 4 years, he said isn't going to change, these kids are no good and a waste of time to deal with.

Then SD16 tells me BM is thinking of coming to Canada next Christmas. She is currently living in Italy. SD hasn't seen BM for over a year now as BM can't afford the airfare and/or time - despite the profit she made from the sale of her house - apparently she needs that for new house etc.

She is talking of renting a cottage nearby.

I just said that it would be cheaper for her to pay for SD to visit her.
