Ok...I admit...I was trolling on my DD and SD's (both 14) Facebook page. I want so badly to correct some of the things I see on these pages..the kids talking like trash and most of them sounding so uneducated, it's ridiculous!! What is the deal with spelling these days (ex: girl=gurhl; me=meh; cool=cuhl and much more)? I know it has to do with texting, but it's getting crazy!

SD12,who has not spoke to her BM for over 3 weeks b/c BM wants nothing to do with her for 60 days so she has time to adjust, is going to spend the night with her Aunt, Uncle (BM's brother), and cousins tonight.

Aunt and Uncle are totally for SD12 living full time here b/c quite honestly they both feel that BM is absolutely psycho and should have no parenting rights whatsoever. They have not spoke to BM in MONTHS, so I'm not really sure why I'm kind of anxious/nervous for her to go...

Any suggestions?

I know I am on that path as well. Going to a therapist tomorrow and try to figure whats going on in my head and heart and how my H will ever get it through his skull that this is going to happen whether he really wants it to or not... It still sucks though, I feel bad for hurting him, and knowing that I had it pretty easy in the step family department, bm was the only psycho one at times. H is not a guilty daddy, he actually parents, and bm parents sometimes.

My SD13 is driving me crazy. I am really starting to hate her with all of me. She is psycho every time she don't get her way she throws and fit and not the normal fit. She throws things,calls people names, punch stuff and people. I am at my witts end with this little twitt. She is in counsling and even the counslor says he never knows whats coming when he sees her. I am stuck love my husband but hate his brat. She has court coming up and I hope they send her away to get some help.

I just found this site about an hour ago..and I read where many other people who are step-moms go through similar circumstances with their step-daughters. Mine is a long story, but its like it just happened yesterday all the hurt its still fresh wounds and I have been praying to have my heart healed from the deep hurts I have endured from my step-daughter. Let me start by saying I did not know how to be a step-mom.

i have a big big big big problem... so my bf and i have slowly been drifting apart we get along just great but for the past 2 years its been like living with my best friend and raising our kids... we have only had sex 3 times in the past year and whenever a kiss is exchanged its a small peck on the lips. we never do anything together unless its at my expense and when his kids come over on the weekends its worse than its ever been.

You know...I knew something would occur once she turned 18, I just wasn't sure what, when, and where lol. Well I got a glimpse just a few minutes ago. LOL....oh my her dad is just going to LOVE this!

I got to meet one of her "friends" who we have never met before (red flag)...the rule has always been that we meet the friends before you get to do things with them etc....this girl was VERY "chatty" lol (red flag). Told me where she works, that she has two jobs etc...one job is at a bar/casino/restaurant (red flag) (who lets their high school kid work in a place like that?).

I am not talking hurt, like bruising his little teenage ego/feelings. I am talking drag his ass out behind the freaking woodshed and beat him until an entire PILE of switches snap in half.

So, it's been a very long time since I have been on here. Mainly because we now have a court order, and for a while, things were running smoothly. Don't get me wrong, we still have our issues here and there, but I am now able to keep the peace. Yes, I said ME! I have somehow become the mediator between my husband and BM. In fact, two weeks ago BM was calling me yelling about DH, DH was beeping in to yell about BM; it gets exhausting. However, she actually will listen to me over DH, so I am dealing with it. Now, onto the topic of the moment.
