Kinda Nervous...

SD12,who has not spoke to her BM for over 3 weeks b/c BM wants nothing to do with her for 60 days so she has time to adjust, is going to spend the night with her Aunt, Uncle (BM's brother), and cousins tonight.

Aunt and Uncle are totally for SD12 living full time here b/c quite honestly they both feel that BM is absolutely psycho and should have no parenting rights whatsoever. They have not spoke to BM in MONTHS, so I'm not really sure why I'm kind of anxious/nervous for her to go...

Any suggestions?

My only suggestion - take a deep breathe. Relax. Do something fun or nice for yourself tonight while shes gone and enjoy the opportunity. It is good for her to stay connected to her BM's side of the family as they are her family too.

Thank You Mama Becky. I guess I have just already developed that "motherly-protective" thing for her, and I want what is best for her. I know that she will be fine and that Aunt and Uncle won't let BM have any contact with her...*deep breathes* LOL Smile

Document it so that if BM decides to 'take SD back', then you will have 'proof' that you are doing your best to help SD maintain a working relationship with BM's side of the family.
