SD wants to live with us, FULL Time!

So, it's been a very long time since I have been on here. Mainly because we now have a court order, and for a while, things were running smoothly. Don't get me wrong, we still have our issues here and there, but I am now able to keep the peace. Yes, I said ME! I have somehow become the mediator between my husband and BM. In fact, two weeks ago BM was calling me yelling about DH, DH was beeping in to yell about BM; it gets exhausting. However, she actually will listen to me over DH, so I am dealing with it. Now, onto the topic of the moment.

Advice about something not related to step parenting......

Okay so I dont have a ton of girlfriends hence why I am writing a blog about this. I am kind of shy and I dont like to get into peoples business. I was wondering if anyone on here might want to lend their personal experiences to me or advice about something I am not sure how to handle. I work in a very very small company only six people work in the office. One girl is really close to my age she is 21. She has a boyfriend been together 6 months and he seems like a complete loser from what I have heard but again I dont get involved not my life so I keep my mouth shut.

OH OH I left THIS Part Out about GG's Conversation with "Counselor"

He told the counselor that his kids were (and I quote) GOOD KIDS!!!

WOW I almost had to keep from choking when he said that.

Little does he know that his darling, rosy cheeked, curly golden locks Princess was rooting through my purse and his wallet when he was asleep at the tender age of 9 1/2.

Go figure..HaHa

So DH emails BM a copy of SD12's current grades (since she has switched schools) that we copy/pasted from Edline while we're waiting for official copy of 3rd 9 weeks report card. BM has been texting DH wanting to know how SD12 is doing, but refuses to talk to SD12 until after May 1st (see previous blog for her reasoning behind this).

BM emails back with, "Those probably aren't even her real grades. Your wife probably bribed the teachers she works with to give her those grades. There is no way she went from all D's and F's to all A's and B's"

I am so tired of it all!!!

Why is it anytime DH and I have to have a discussion about SD13 he can't just discuss the topic at hand? Instead he throws all the shit I've done in my face. GRRRRR. I am so tired of it. Oh how I wish I could be as perfect him.
And if i sit back and just let him deal with it all, he will just find other reasons to bash me. I AM SO TIRED OF THIS!!

Kids say the darndest things

marissamae88's picture

Ok so yesterday I got home around 5:30 after picking up my two older ones from school. I was surprised to see my SO home because lately he is hardly home before 8pm. He wasn't feeling so good so he came home and sent the babysitter home and he stayed with the younger two. The younger two are ages 4 and 2 ( practically 3). The four year old told my SO that for christmas he should buy me two rings and a white dress so we can get married. lol. He asked why two rings? The four year old said because...... I swear I did not brain wash him or train him to say those things.

Red flags were a waving but now I know better!!!

Well, I went out for a drink/date with one of my dearest friends' coworkers last night. Very nice guy, accomplished, down-to-earth, not fixated on his two daughters (ok, just two daughters set a flag waving) but soon into the convo (we're talking first ten minutes here) he tells me he was woken by a knock on his door first thing...and he is getting summoned to court by his ex wife for more CS.

I played it cool and didn't say too much -- he went on to say he has a "crazy ex wife with mental health issues".
