let's not sugar coat it...

not all but many, if not most, MIL's have a hidden agenda when it comes to the SM. first and foremost, all us sm's now know that the sun rises and sets on the asses of the skids. and anything the sm does or says that does not set the skid on a pedastool is reason enough to hate her. and by not setting said skid on pedastool, the golden uterus is back on the front page and anything she did or said on her part to cause the divorce is all forgiven and the "broken" family is now 100% the new SM's fault.

just wondering who all is tuning into the royal wedding???

i am definitley dvr'ing it in case i don't wake up, but i am so NOT buying memorabilia for it....

just so exciting, going from a country girl to a princess!! i didn't turn into a princess when i married, but i felt like one and wore my tiara proud!!

has anyone ever hired a professional organizer? or does anyone have any tips on how to begin and ultimately conquer. i know this is sad, but i have a 750 sq.ft. room that is in chaos (and that's not even including the garage ~ that's a whole different mess). i let it get out of hand and now i am just too overwhelmed by it all.

i adopted my sweet little angel girl kitty 10 years ago today...

she's laying here on my desk while i work away (and ST) making the sweetest little noises...... and all day if i get up and go to a different spot in the house, she follows me. almost like she knows it's "our" day... usually she finds her happy ass a spot to lounge and stays there until she wants something...

poor angel is facing cancer, she has had two operations and it keeps coming back, i just hope this last growth stays small and does not create pain for her for a very long time!

how many of you, dvr/tivo your soap operah every day and watch it after work??

i didn't watch soaps for years, but i was bedridden for a bit about 5 yrs ago and have been addicted ever since...

but i can't watch it when dh is sitting there with me, b/c i realize how crazy ass stupid it is.. he always says "you don't have to change it", and i say "yes, i do, i feel dumb" and he laughs...

but dvring is awesome, b/c it only takes about 35 mins to watch after you breeze thru the commercials!

at the advice from a former stepper, i bought a juicer... i received it last week and have used it once.. the carrot was overkill, the pineapple evened it out, but it has not motivated me to make any more juices....

and now i have a fridge full of beetroot, celery, cucumber, spinach, carrots, apples, plums just waiting to go into the compost bin..

so any help on tried & true recipes would be greatly appreciated..
