A synopsis of the Gens; Greatest through Alpha

An interesting read.

Gen Alpha (2010-2024): Like the generations that came before them, every passing year will shape the cultural perception of who they are. In the meantime, parents get the pride and honor to help guide them to making the best choices -possible.

Happy TG Stalkers.

Ours was overall outstanding.  We flew out the Friday prior to TG.  That week was the 31st anniversary of our first date.  I only know the week because it was the week before TG.  Otherwise that would be nowhere near my Man-RADAR.

Deadbolt the doors, bolt everything down, put alarms on everything. SIL is visiting!

I am only partially joking.  She will be her just after New Years.  She is staying for 4 days.  She started the "I miss you" campaign with my DW about 2mos ago.  Conceptually I am not against it. In reality, it will undoubtedly be an emotional shit show for my bride and a big part of that will be the anxiety that anything and everything will have to be secured or it will disappear.

NSR. I just realized that I never asked my XW why she wanted a divorce.

When she informed me, all I said was "Go file."

Between CPEs to renew my professional cert I have been binge watching reels and clips.  One I saw today is a man whose DW is handing him divorce papers which include a CS agreement for a kid that is not his. They met when the kid was 7. No adoption.

Happy birthday my love.

The celebration of your 29th birthday (Wink), celebrating 30 years and 25 days of our life adventure together, and 32 years and 19 days of loving  and being proud our son.

Your beauty, brilliance, and incredible soul take my breath away even more than the first time I saw you.

I pray for your happiness and hope that you share your light with the world, and me, for another nearly 50 years, or more.

Enjoy dinner tonight at The Top off The World.

With infinate appreciation of you.

Love,

Rags

My teeth hurt!

There is a new Duracell battery commercial that just chaps my ass to no end and grinds my jaws.

A young kid is screaming his head off when his remote control race car stops working. Frowning mommy replaces the batteries in the remote, gives it to the kid, and the kid smiles.

Just pulled in from a 16day 5K+ Mile Road Trip.

That was a long one. And I love road trips.

I left on Wed July 31st the day after our 30th anniversary.  I drove from LV NV to Tucumcari NM the first day.  N Az and N NM are my absolute favorite region on the planet.  Stunning beauty. But... the way back I found a rival region that comes pretty close.

Happy 30th anniverary to my beautiful, brilliant bride with a heart of gold.

Thank you for tolerating my wanderlust and constant pursuit of change and adventure.  Going forward I will try to avoid chainsaw massacre motels in the middle of nowhere and Mob hit man hotels in cities. I promise.

Blush

I love you beyond measure.

Back from our 30th Anniversary trip.

It was great.  I was planning a week in Iceland. But, with recent career changes... again, we decided on an all points trip to Hawaii for 9 days.  This is or first use of a boat-ton of IHG points and ... last years trip to Kawai Hawaii Airlines screwed up big time and gave us a ton of vouchers. So, 9 days on the big island and all we paid was for the rental car, food, tours/activities, and shopping.
