have spent a lovely day

With SO.
On way home phoned skids to see if they want Mcdonalds for tea. We got them theirs and we decided we would go out for drink in local pub. Dropped their food home had quick chat with sd15. Sd17 got her knickers in a twist and again spoke to her dad like a piece of crap asking him where is he going now when he has been out all day with me!! Luckily he did stand up to her and said does it matter and did she have a problem with him going out? The usual sulky strop attitude from her resumed.

Is it wrong

For me to get wound up when SO has conversations with exw about stuff that is nothing to do with skids.
her car got trashed this week and apparently when she collected ysd she was showimg SO the pictures and discussing buying a new car.
I dont understand why he needs to talk to her about this stuff. They divorced so why is he still interested.
in my eyes he didnt need to speak to her at all tonight but he did.
His view is he is keeping the relationship friendly, why? They see each other oncw a week if that, and they use the time to catch up with gossip!

what to do?

Continue to visit and ignore SD17 or just stay away from her.
I have gone over to SO house tonight as SD15 has a swim competition and i want to support her for a chamge as SD17 always gets the attention. SD15 has cooked us all dinner and i have to sit next to SD17. I cant stand the girl. I cant even bring myself to say hello to at the moment and everything and i mean everything about her sets my teeth on edge.

so hurt and sad

Last night was supposed to be an evening for me and SO to spend some quality time together. I was cooking dinner for him and a quiet eve in was planned or so i thought. On the way back from the shop im told that when we collect SD from swimming around 930. We would have to spend 15mims or so videoing SD17 swimming. I was NOt happy. She swims 3-4 times a week and so Why have to do it the one night that was supposed to be my time?

Cant believe what i am seeing

Who in their right mind would put a king size sheet on a single bed and continue to sleep in it??
The common sense and laziness of some people actually amazes me. Im quite impressed though that her bed has been changed twice this year! 4 times since we moved in nearly 6 months ago and she wonders why her room smells.
I will be removing all king size sheets from the airing cupboard so hopefully she can get it right in the next couple of months when she feels the need to change her bed!

chores

how i hate the weekly arguement of getting skids to do their chores.
my daughter i only have to tell once and it gets done withing a coupke of hours. Skids have to be repeatedly reminded evey day all wk. This morning they are going out for the day so i gently reminded SO he needs to enforce the chores are done before they go out.
i also pointed out that if he parented then we wouldnt be having this weekly arguement.

slightly happy and smug today

SO received an email from BM today explaining youngest SD8 has been ill since monday and wont be going to school tomorrow or friday.
we have sd8 after school every thurs and fri and this week we are due to have her fri to wednesday overnight because of holidays.
the reason for the email is BM wants us to have Sd8 overnight thursday and care for her friday instead of being at school as she is still unwell.
SO emailed back with sorry have meetings until 230pm can not pick her up until 3pm which is our usual contact time.

got home tonight

and the usual stench wafts down the staires from SD17 bedroom. I go up and shut the door. A quick glance in her pit and see blood all over her bedsheet. Ewwwwwww.
Shes gone away for the weekend and wont be back til sunday evening.
Oh well

and again

I am so sick of this 17yo.
Tonight she has had a fall blown arguement with her dad over money.
complaining there is no money for food and things for her because he goes on date night with me (once a fortnight- the only time we have our time)
I actually had to step in and stop the arguement. I was furious with this stupidity when will it end???
I cant even type everything as I am so utterly shocked by it all

OMG

SO.and SD17 have been out ALL day at a swimming competition. I get a text this eve saying they were going to A+E because SD had hurt her back. Im pointed out it was probably a muscle spasm so not to waste A+E time and come home.
They arrived home 830pm, ate their dinner and then SO 'helped' SD into the bath.
