On way home phoned skids to see if they want Mcdonalds for tea. We got them theirs and we decided we would go out for drink in local pub. Dropped their food home had quick chat with sd15. Sd17 got her knickers in a twist and again spoke to her dad like a piece of crap asking him where is he going now when he has been out all day with me!! Luckily he did stand up to her and said does it matter and did she have a problem with him going out? The usual sulky strop attitude from her resumed.
SO and I had a chat about her attitude and he admitted she was jealous, not only of me but her siblings and any other woman he is in contact with. He said he is trying to sort it BUT feels stuck in the middle and doesnt want to have to chose between us. I pointed out that she believes he is her partner and not her father and he needs to address that. i also highlighted i moved out because i didnt want him to have to chose and until she was 18 she should live with him. However once 18 i would expect him to start 'choosing' me over her. He needs to decide if he wants a life with a daughter that will eventually leave him and home or a life with me. The choice isnt exclusive but more of a priority towards me, my feelings and our relationship.
It is slowly sinking in i think.
