This kid's selfishness is mind-blowing, UGH

I teach teenagers. Five days a week. I KNOW how self-absorbed they are. Teenagers don't think about the future. At least not my students. But SSstb14 takes it to the next level. He is currently calling DH's family members to reiterate what he asked for for Christmas and to make any changes. All he has talked about for MONTHS is what we can buy him. He has already placed dibs on MY vehicle for when he is old enough to drive and talks about it every single day. He is not ashamed of his constant gift-grab at all.

Less than 24 hours and already, ugh!

SSstb13 has been here less than 24 hours and is already on my last nerve! His usual bossy, selfish, greedy self. To top it off, he was downstairs playing video games and BSs were building legos. When they came up to find pieces, he sprayed one of their cinnamon rolls with air freshener. When they went back down he told DS6 to eat it. DS started to eat it then spit it out and came to tell me. I called SS up and he said that he "forgot that he had sprayed it" in the usual way that he lies. You can ALWAYS tell when he is lying because he puts on this weird, hesitant voice.

Friend's new baby

Today, my best friend had her new baby boy. I was there the whole time, witnessed the delivery, cried at his birth, sang to him, took pictures, the whole nine. He is perfect, and tiny and amazing. I kind of want to go back to the hospital just to cuddle with him.
