Fools hope?

I had a long chat with my dh about everything that's going wrong from manners to hygiene to screen time and never getting alone time. He said things will change. He said he has been really lazy parenting and it has to stop. He just needs to get his bum in gear etc. Everything I was hoping for tbh. There was no anger towards me he didn't get annoyed at me pretty much ranting about his lack of parenting and all the ridiculous stuff skids do that I find disgusting. He even agreed with 99% of it but said he just doesn't notice/pay attention.

Too far or not far enough?

I bought sd12 a large shelving unit because her chest of drawers is falling in bits. I told her 3 times at the very least to make sure the drawers were empty so we could dispose of them over the weekend. They are still full. I'm considering putting all the stuff in a bin bag and putting it in the garage and disposing of the drawers and telling her I thought all the stuff was for the bin due to me telling her to empty them on numerous occasions and her completely ignoring me.

This week I bought sd9 now sd10 a new bed and a shelving unit. I put it all together and changed her bedroom furniture round so it looks better. I also bought sd12 a shelving unit and changed her bedroom furniture round. You would think at the least I would get a thank you?? Nope definitely did not. 
It was sd10s birthday on Wednesday so today as a favour to my dh (who did say thank you) I got her a cake, card and gift. I also put up balloons and banners etc for her birthday celebration here. Did I get a thank you? Nope again I definitely did not. 

Annoying skids

Sd9 feels the world revolves around her. My dh finishes work on a Friday and goes to pick skids up from bm. Sd then decides whether she is coming that day or not. She will either say yes she's coming for the weekend then on Saturday ring bm and go back on Saturday while sd12 stays until Sunday. Or no she will stay with bm on Friday and daddy can pick her up on Saturday.

I usually only come on here to rant about my skids in a place where I won't get judged for it to get it all out because it makes me feel less alone. I don't usually offer advice because quite honestly I haven't got any..apart from don't eat yellow snow. I do read a lot of posts and sympathise so if I have read it and not commented it's because I haven't a clue what to say just know my heart is with you.  
So decided to blog instead of write in the forum as I'm just ranting and it's 3am here.
