H's weekend here-and no mention of SD17.
In fact, I haven't seen or heard from her since I sent her the email. If you read that email, you'll remember I gave her an opportunity to apologize and change her behaviour. Evidently she'd rather just stay away, than own up to her actions. Which is fine by me. She'll be 18 in May. I've told H that when she reaches 18 she is coming off of my auto insurance policy. It's Time for her to grow up. H can go see her when he picks up SD14, who is going to spend the weekend here.

I'm exhausted, so taking today for myself. H is being an ass, as usual.
Many of you know my mother fell and broke her hip-and the ankle on the opposite side, 5 weeks ago.
And since then, I've become caregiver for my parents. Dad's stoke of 6 years ago was pretty debilitation. Many times, speech is difficult. He can do a little driving, walk w/assistance of a cane, tho not far and not long.
So, I've been cooking, cleaning, setting appointments, doing the laundry, trying to finish my class and deal with H's messes. And look for a job.
Idiot ideas-H wants to be on unemployment!
I could not believe this came out of that man's mouth. He was just home for 5 days. 5 days because he took his last vacation day yesterday (and spent the day playing cards with his buddies).
So he's sitting in the recliner (he's plopped there so much that, in less than a year of marriage, it's already taking on his shape)...and says-"I wish I was on unemployment right now!" Followed with "if we had an extra $1,000 coming in"-which would mean he wishes he was on unemployment and I have a job!

OT-Meet my parents-and what marriage should be like
You've all prayed for my Mom. So I'd like to introduce you to her.
She is 75 years old, with only a few gray hairs!
Mom has always been a nervous type of woman, maybe a little OCD, certainly a little paranoid, but also very in love, very dependent on my Dad. Her dad was killed by a drunk driver when she was nine. In those days, there wasn't liability insurance, so she grew up very very poor. And very very beautiful. She loved her mother deeply, and took great care of her in her last years.

H-building dreams on lies
I'm trying to finish my Anatomy & Physiology course. Nearly done, with a 99% grade. But everytime I sit down to study, I get tears. Everytime. Because I had a dream. I had a plan. Or should I say H led me to believe I did. Now its shattered. With his enormous debt to IRS, all I can hope for is another divorce.
H had me spending hours and hours this summer looking for a beach home in Texas. A dream. A plan. I poured over repos, we took a trip to the coast, going here and there with realtors. All the while, he knew he had this IrS debt. I had no idea.

Weekend was actually ok-until now. H continues to lie, to try to "smooth" over his mess
My sis was here this weekend-she took over with Mom and Dad so I could have a break and catch up in class.
H, "kissing a$$" big time, did all the cooking. Of course, he still went off to his card playing every day. Of course, SD14 was still here for the weekend (I just studied, worked thru 3 lessons).
So diappointed-almost to the point of despair. I did not get the job
They called this morning...and have filled the position.
On the bright side, my bff did call and tell me about another job, for the husband of one of her friends (optomitrist), so I ran right down with my resume. They said they would call next week with an interview time.
I'm puzzled-why is knocking at the door such an issue?
For those who read my email to SD17, one of the things I told her was she can knock when she comes over. Because of several reasons.
1) She hit the door screaming last time she came
2) My bedroom is right off the living room-no hall. I could've been in there changing clothes or something-it has an arched doorway, so no door between the bedroom and living room.
3) She does not live here.
4) She usually has her bf w/her when she comes over.
My interveiwer called today-I won't know about the job till tomorrow
So, in the meantime I am taking care of mom & dad and finally found a few hours to study...my instructor is being very understanding. I'm 3/4 of the way thru A & P and have a 99.02, but have not been able to find study time with all that is going on with Mom and Dad, and will fail if I don't keep up with the schedule.
The good and the bad and the impossible-I may have a job, the IRS can have H
So far so good on the job interview. they have contacted two of my references, and I know these ladies gave me a shining report.
Tomorrow will the the day I find out.
