NEWSFLASH!! Healthy Eating May Help ADHD Kids!! WHO KNEW??!!

As I've been saying right along, I find it strange, this current outcropping of children with ADHD who also have such issues as:

1. constant video game/electronic device playing
2. junk food/"kid-friendly" meals as a standard diet
3. ZERO fresh air and exercise
4. Snacks loaded with chemicals/artificial dyes, flavours
5. Improper bedtime habits (no set bedtime)

They've actually done a STUDY on it!!

Several "topics" came up over the weekend. And not surprisingly I was surprised by what a FANTASY WORLD GG lives in.

1. He wrote a six paged hand written letter (purposely NOT shown to me) explaining "his side" of the past almost nine years to the skids (Brainiac SS15, VD SD13 and Prince Hygiene SS9). It seemed to make him feel better but does he REALLY EXPECT that letter to see the light of day over at the Behemoth's? And if they DID see it, no doubt it would be HIGHLY annotated with whole pages "blocked out."

Why am I NOT surprised? More lazy assed parenting!! Seems teeth brushing is optional these days! Who knew? I distinctly remember GG not having the "angels" brush their teeth because it was too "boring."

As you know before I left for Awesomeson's graduation, GG was in a total snit and was trying to push my buttons; stating that he was going to reunite with his "angels" and let "bygones be bygones." That I was to go back to being doormat SM and he would return to guilty/disney daddy with gusto citing specific examples of where I was NOT to get involved and that he would NOT be parenting (i.e. turning off the blaring Anime that was on TV at almost 10 at night when the Prince Hygiene was not yet 7 years old WITHOUT his permission to enter HIS room, etc. etc)

Of course you've heard of "Jodies" the cadence-esque songs that marching enlisted personnel sing to keep in step. I think being a stepmom is akin to fighting a war, so therefore I think we need our OWN jodies!!

Here's a starter; let's get creative here:

I don't know but I've been told
Stepmom's life gets pretty old
Brats abound and get their way
Stepmom doesn't have a say
Husband lets them get real bold
Stepmom is supposed to fold
Husband lets them whine all day
Stepmom has to dearly pay

Here's an article about an "idea" (no doubt instituted by the current "regime") on CS and how they can now take 100% of a ncp biodad's income if he is receiving SSI or SSD.
