Finally...

My husband and I had a really great talk last night and I think he finally sees things clearly now. It's been really hard getting him to see the big picture with regards to his son. He refused to even consider the fact that his son was one way with me and my kids and another way entirely when he was around. Not to mention finally getting him to see how jealous, bitter and resentful he is thanks to his mother.

Just trying to protect myself..

Do you think it's wrong, now that SS is old enough to report back things to his mother to fuel the money fit she is in, to put my foot down about him coming here for visits?

He's 15 1/2 now and everytime he comes here, he tells her all about something new we might have that she can't possibly afford. He's also become very sneaky and I'm afraid of him stealing confidential information about our life.

It's been hard to process and talk about...

Thanks SympatheticBioDad for stopping by my main blog to say hi! That was so very nice of you!

Well, things with my step-son are not getting better. Since he moved back in with his mother, he's actually gotten worse. My Hubby and his ex had a very long talk last night about their son and came to a very hard conclusion: he needs medical help.

I Miss the Little Things

Since my step son moved out, there has been alot of relief and less stress on our household. But there are little things about him that I miss. Things that have eternally endeared him to my heart. Since I've known him since he was 3, he's so much a part of our lives and my heart.

I was driving down the road today and saw his old bus he used to ride from school. I remember sometimes having to race to beat it from work so I would be home when he got home. See his smiling face as he walked through the door.

I have to laugh...

So, you've read my posting from my blog at Christmas time. Let me tell you, having my step-son move out was really hard on all of us. He made his decision based upon being pissed that we wouldn't let him do some things and decided that his mom's was the place for him....Because his mom won't make him do what he doesn't want to do. He said some really horrible things to his Father, things that broke his heart. And then moved out. It was a terrible time for my children and for us. But I was a little relieved to not have to deal with the DAILY tantrums, arguements, and attitude problems.
