TGIF, STalkers! Anyone else counting down the hours until the weekend officially begins (5.5 for me!)?

This has been a loooooooong week and crazy-busy at work. Protein shakes (yippee) for breakfast and fruit/nuts for lunch because I haven't had time to make anything. And working past my end time every effing day because the work keeps getting piled on. No, I do not get overtime, so today I will be clocking out on time and sprinting to the kitchen for a martini.

• Cancer, that *&#@*+)>{%!!. My sweet stepsister, who lost her dear husband to cancer a few short months ago, passed away yesterday after a short, vicious fight. My stepmom is heartbroken and my faith is faltering.

Hug those dear to you and tell them you love them. It may be your last chance.

TGIF, STalkers! What a week this has been. I've been busting my hiney all week, but there is so much to be done, it feels like trying to walk backwards up a Down escalator. Ugh. I am VERY ready for the weekend and some time to chillax and regroup!

Welcome to Friday! Yes, I did a little 'woot woot' this morning, knowing I was just hours away from the weekend. It's been a fairly good week, but I'm ready for some downtime.

• Covid. One of my friends lost his brother on Wednesday. 
• Muscle spasms. Tweaked my back last night moving our freezer and am having spasms in my lower back and right glute. Grrrrrr....
• Zoom. It's neverending.
• SO sick and tired of politics and those who manage to throw it into every bloody conversation. Eff off already.

TGIF! I'm counting down the work hours until I can virtually sprint for the door (5 hours, 10 minutes). The only plan for the weekend is typical introvert style: stay home with DH (also an introvert) and avoid humans like the plague.

• Insomnia. I've been a chronic insomniac for decades and have tried every remedy under the sun. Nothing works. I am seriously dragging today.
