Oh the Irony

Sweet T's picture

So the ex signed on to be an assistant coach, has made a huge deal about it. The Irony is that he is not able to be at every practice or game or is late because he chose to move 45 minutes away or because he makes other plans, but he told the head coach that my husband could fill in for him when he was not there. To date, my husband BS's step dad has been at every practice, clinic and all but 1 Saturday game because he had to work. When ex is there to assistant coach my husband does the score keeping and mans the kids on the bench.

This is the same man that my ex made a huge deal about that Father's day is only something that should celebrate him... but he is good enough to fill in for something he signed up for.

I make sure my husband knows and so does BS how much we appreciate that he is out there helping after working his physical job every day. He is older than most the dad's by 10 years and has no kids of his own and has a bad back but he is out playing ball and helping out.

Here is a good example of how fake ex is. At the last game SM got a migraine as they pulled in the parking lot. She stayed in the car and he asked if I would check on her around the second inning. I asked him if she needed any meds. He went on and on on how she has awesome drugs ect... to me and all the other moms. When I went and checked on her she had nothing with her at all, I had excedrine migraine in my purse and gave her some....why lie about that and be so dramatic about it. Meanwhile his wife is suffering in the car.

They only want to be noticed when its title/trophy time. After BM's snotty comment about not getting Ss's Kindergarten Certificate, I asked the teacher today if she could get the principal to issue another one for her. Of course the teacher said yes. BM never paid for his school fees, his lunch money, class field trips, extra money sent here and there for class activities. It was all DH but she surely was offended DH got the certificate and she didn't. Well I fixed it for her this year but next year (as his teacher told me) we probably won't get a teacher as cooperative to do twice the work for an absentee parent.
