There's been some pretty crappy weather here past few days and we've been "lucky enough" to have 3 whole snow days from school. It hasn't been bad at all even concidering SS14 is MOST CERTAINLY under punishment for his latest stunts.Which is EXACTLTY why the absent minded piss poor xcuse 4 a mom or woman,BM,decided to 1st of all call the police to our house for a "wellness" check on her BS14 due to his actions being brought to light.Nothing became of it and the police would not take OUR report,for harrassment or her making a false report,blah blah....

Unbelievable.....

Well I have had plenty of pleasant things to say of my SS14 eventhough he has made some bad decisions lately. figure like this; he IS a kid mine or not,they do all make mistakes although he is or was a smart and mostly respectful youngman. I have had to except the fact that he is NOT perfect.

I have hadit w/all the bs-" oh poor me feel for me" over dramatized crap that we have to deal w/pretaining to my SSs (14&9). It's been 5 yrs. now I have been here through so flippin' much: boo boos, bad dreams,hurt feelings,good grades,poor grades,friends,foes,girl drama,school functions,life lessons. Speaking of,when we 1st met these 2 kids were something else!

Plz what will help?

Okay well, Yesturday I found out that my SS14 is grounded at his ncp's. So, every wknd except the first wknd of the month he is allegedly grounded. :jawdrop: WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF EITHER CHILD BEING ON PUNISHMENT THERE! I guess he was "caught" smoking cigarettes once, and his bm made him Clean her house for a day or something,however he does chores daily at home,so how is that punishment? WE only found that out because the bm posted her entire journal on Facebook! So, things are happening there that we SHOULD be aware of but NEVER are.

Just can't get a break!

My oldest SS was 9 when we decided to become a family unit. I have watched and helped him grow and mature into a very productive,polite,and smart young man. He is now 14. In April of '10 we were given our "final judgment" from family court, the living arrangements are to stay as is,(out of town Bm had tried to remove the boys from our home to hers) OK, during the two yrs. this went on the oldest SS simply refused to live with her! Wanted nothing to do with living there at all. BM was well aware,still we went through so much dealt with it all again, we won our case.

I remeber the days when I was actually welcomed Fridays,no more backtalk battles and some relief for 2 nights and 2days. Nowadays I dread them. Seems like my 2 SS one or the other or even both at times will do WHATEVER they feel like just to get under my skin knowing they will be leaving no matter what at 5pm! There are NEVER any calls throughout the wk to speak to the boys nor are we contacted w/behavior updates or concerns through the wknd. DF wants as little contact as possible w/bm and I TOTALLY understand now,why.
