Is this out of line?? Need advice ladies

Now that ss went to live with bm we were ordered to pay all traveling costs..when we had custody we split down the middle for years..but of course, she gets what she wants now and what she wants is for us to give her every penny we have. Quite frankly we were just ordered to pay 600.00 a month for ss(bm is one happy lark now) so we may lose our house because this is half of our payment. We also have to pay his medical and you can be sure she will take him every time he sneezes, she is a "" like that.

What are the chances??

My ss went to live with his bm after dh had custody and we raised him the past 12 years...Anyways, he is 16 and I hear that a lot of times skids leave and want to come back. Just curious if this is more often than not. Or, do they usually want to stay wherever they start highschool as ss is in the 9th grade. Different schools, etc...I would allow for him to come back once but not the off and on and since we live so far away I cant see him doing that. There are pros and cons of him living with us and am thinking the pros are actually ahead.

}:) long story short...dh had custody of bs my ss and we moved for his job from 1 state into another state, we were not going to go if the courts said no because we would not have left ss with bm as it was not in his best interest..

The worse thing BM has done: Can you beat this?

Okay so what is the worse thing BM has done? Just wanted to see some of the stories. I have many but here are 3 :? can you top these??
1. Took child at age 4 through our window while we were upstairs. She called to see if she could take child for lunch and I said sure, why not right?? she is the bm so I went upstairs to tell my husband that she was taking him, went downstairs and my ss was gone and a vehicle was backing out of my driveway with his feet hanging out of the vehicle. She was hiding in the woods and had it all planned out.This was during a custody battle.

Does step parenting get better after age 18??

Please someone give me some encouragement and tell me that when your step child becomes an adult that the bm's games end?? Or at least are minimal. I just cannot see an end in sight with this situation. I will be able to get through it all much easier if I hear things will be better when the child is grown.
My poor husand new the bm for a month they were 16 years old and bam now he has to live with this forever. Talk about a good form of birth control, his story.

So wishing we could continue paying child support and not see ss until he turns 18 which is 2 more years. We only get him 3 weeks a year now. This way we would not have to put up with bm's games. We had custody for years until just recent when he decided to live with her. He wanted to go because of gf and the fact there are no rules there. He got mad at bf for taking cell phone away for a day. uggh.....wish...wish...wish...we could do this!
