It comes to an end....

It's been a loooong time since I posted or visited this site. I think the last entries were last summer concerning my step-daughters wedding. All went well BTW.

Well...after 6 1/2 years.We broke up! So there hasn't been much to discuss or bitch about. No crazy X wife, no step kid issues...no guilty Dad syndrome. He moved out in November...and moved in with his daughter and her new husband and has been living there for almost 8 months now.

I'm good with it. No regrets. No bitterness. My son sees him on a regular basis still..there relationship remains intact.

Things have been very busy. We just got back in town from Fastpitch Provincials..this is the 1st year we've been out of the medals. The girls had fun...the parents had fun...so all's good!

I mentioned that Hubby's nut job ex...left the reception early the night of SD's wedding. Apparently, she was pretty upset..crying and everything. Hugging people and saying things like "It's too emotional." and "It's just bringing back too many memories."

I'm getting under BF's ex's skin...all I have to do is breath

Guess what a little bird told me tonight? They overheard a conversation...where youngests wedding was being discussed. I don't know if it was youngest or oldest SD that said this but basically.

"If 'hubby' mentions lovin-lifes name in any way during his father of the bride speech nut jobs HEAD WILL EXPLODE!" He is not to mention my existance in any way.

I thought I'd update.
The shower went well..dispite some medling from the bride to be...I just went ahead with how I had planned..with all the wedding guests except Mom's side invited. In the end, she was very happy and couldn't thank me enough..so all's good there.

The wedding is 2-1/2 weeks away...

The world is too small!

Hubby & I are taking our first real vacation in almost 6 years...were heading to Cuba..

Booked it months ago!!!!

Ahhhhh R & R.....

Guess whose ugly face we're gonna see there!!!
I'm not kidding..!!!!!

The X from hell grabbed a seat sale...

Thank God...We only have to see her breifly at the airport..

But my God .. that's too close for comfort!!!!!

The world is not BIG ENOUGH!!!!!

My satisfaction is.....I'm well tanned, about 170 pounds lighter..... and I'll make damn sure I LOOK HOT, HOT, HOT !!!!!!!!

Wedding shower saga.....

This is a small thing compared to what some of you are dealing with...but I'm aggrevated and want to let it out.

You all know the stink that's gone down because of oldest SD. The latest being she's barely speaking with her father over her snotty 'we'll see' comment and talking youngest into having 1 shower instead of having me handle a shower for the Dad's side (like I was asked to do) and oldest doing one for the Mom's side... Shouldn't be a big deal..but oldest was going to withhold the grandchildren and initially refused to visit with us over the holidays..over it.
