I always feel so much more stressed during the summer. My SS12 is usually here from the beginning of June till mid-August. I always look forward to it before he gets here and then find myself frustrated and irritated with him within the first week.

Every year we have the right to block out two weeks of uninterrupted time each summer. We can take it as 1 chunk or 2 separate weeks. Every year we go to the beach with my family the week beginning with Fathers Day weekend. Every year, she finds a new way to freak out and upset the kids big time.

We were getting ready to eat dinner. all kids are sitting down, bf's son says can i eat..bf says no wait for everyone. I walk in to the dining room with last thing needed, my son says "everyones here, Im going to eat," He grabs the serving spoon and proceeds,boyfriends son tries to wrestle it away from him claiming he had first dibs, My oldest says Not everyones sitting...bf tells my son to to put it back, and since he grabbed first he can eat last

Just posing a question to anyone who might have a viewpoint.
Do you think its healthy for my live in boyfriend to receive 3-7 calls per day from his ex wife???
His kids are pretty healthy, no real concerns. He has his two little boys 3 and 4 while she has the 6 and 7 year old. Also she has a daughter that is not his but he raised that is part of the situation.

At this moment I hate my f*&^en SD12. She is displaying so many of her BM characteristics that it is making me sick..constant lying, thinking that the rules don't apply and demanding things she hasn't earned.

In midst of all this craziness-thinking of maybe just getting up an taking the kids on a day trip to NY this wknd...no cost to fly and weather seems will be good.

SO with that said-which places would you recommend for being there around 5-6hrs? Cost from LGA to Manhattan in cab or which way to get there?

I got married on Saturday and my parents kept my children while we were away for the wedding night. Apparently, my mother spoke to my XH on the phone for a significant amount of time (she said 2 hours but I doubt that it was really that long). She told me that she told him that his time was over, he had his chance to make things right with me, etc, etc. Well, XH called me this morning regarding something kid related and he happened to mention that he had a great talk with my mom and that she said some nice things to him. So, now I have to decide:

Really nervous about this. We haven't set a time/day yet... Just a quick recap. BM wanted to meet with me when she first moved here back in august. There was WAY to much drama and boundaries and things that needed to be worked out between BM and SO, so i was really against meeting with her.

:? The Ex-wife just came and checked him out of school. I called my husband to see what was going on and he told me, " I was busy at didn't get a chance to call." I'm so tired of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sitting at my desk in tears right now. I don't know what else to do. :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick:

SD9's birthday is in 3 months. she wants to do a slumber party at our place. It will be the first time we celebrate her birthday that involve her friends and an actual party. I don't mind putting it together but there's a catch..... }:)

Miss thing has been acting up a lot lately more towards her father then me and I'm just sick of it already. So I'm thinking of canceling it and have her mother do something for HER daughter instead of me having to do it. Which will be slim because BM hates doing anything that requires some work effort.
