How she hates to be ignored

Things have been relatively quite in our world. I met BM not too long ago and other than her high pitched, overly gushy chit chat and the limp noodle hand shake she gave, things stayed at a tolerably awkward level ( no drama). Well wildebeest must be having a rough week. She has been texting later and later in the evening, FDH ignores those texts because he has told her that anything after eight pm (emergencies excluded of course) is inappropriate.

O/T Shower Curtains/Clawfoot tub

Ladies and Draco-

Do any of you know where I can purchase a shower curtain for a clawfoot tub/shower? I've been looking but there seems to be so many different opinions on the subject (at least online). We are moving soon and I'm having a hard time figuring out which kind to buy. I've read if you don't get the correct type, the curtains will billow while you shower. Anyone have any experience with this?

The minute BM found out we bought a house and the weekend we are moving (FDH wanted to have FSD because she’s super excited) she has been trying to make up reasons why she should drop FSD off rather than us picking her up first thing in the morning. This from a woman who has never, ever done a drop off, FDH always does pickups and drop offs. She claims it would be the perfect time to meet me and see our house. She gets the chance to meet me every time we drop FSD off, but she peeks out the door, hustles FSD in a shuts it super-fast.

When someone posts for awhile, gets loads of advice but doesn't use any of it, and other Stalkers begin to question them? They sign off all huffy and say they'll never be back right? Then two or five days later someone new starts posting, same writing style and what not but way different story. Makes me go hmmm. You?

Anne said it’s been boring here, so you guys can hear about the excitement at work this evening. I was threatened tonight by a patron that had been cut off. He behaved for an hour or so, sobering up (I don’t know how he got so messed up, he only had one beer) and then decided to be ungentlemanly to another patron. Bartender on duty asked him to leave…and that’s when I got involved. I should say that in 13 years of the restaurant/bar/night club biz I have been threatened a very few times, less in my seven years managing.

Since we told BM and FSD of our plans to marry, FDH has seen FSD once, on a Sunday, for four hours. Weirdly enough, BM has all these last minute plans that don’t allow FDH to see his daughter. Last night he gets a text telling him that he won’t get her this weekend the following weekend or the one after that, but he can have her the second to last weekend of August, because they have plans Labor day weekend. FDH, texted her back saying, so you are telling me you are going to keep my daughter from me for a month and a half because YOU have plans? She changed her tune a bit after that.

Well he asked and I said yes! It’s official now Smile He asked me while I was in sweats working on a big paper and it was perfect. Egads, I love him so much! I told him about Anon’s recommendation of sending an email after picking up SD and in doing so giving her a couple of days to get used to the idea before being around their daughter. So that's the plan. FDH will tell SD alone while I’m at work.
