Forgot to add this in my recent blog.  DH and BM are all excited that SD got asked to be on an "advanced" softball team and will be the starting pitcher.  They are so excited she has this great "opportunity"....the team is a bunch of 9 year olds....SD just turned 13!  Yeah, she is so amazing!!!  Let's celebrate her mediocore skill level!

Hahahahaha!

They've got it a little backwards.

Right?!?! When DH was all excited and telling me how great it was I wanted to roll my eyes and shake him and be like, REALLY!??  UGH!  I would be embarassed if my kid was asked to be on a team with kids 4 years younger.  The even more embarassing part is the 9 year olds are competitive so they are probably more skilled than SD already!

Lol did BM tell them she's really only 9 but looks mature for her age.
I'm waiting for the first time a hitter beans her in the head! With her previous traumatic head injury she could end up a vegetable.

Doesn't need to hit her in the head, just come close. She will fall down in a fit, rolling around on the ground, holding her ankle... I mean, head.

I have no idea how BM made this happen.  SD has always been bigger for her age anyways.  She is going to look like an adult on a field of children!

So they couldn't find enough 9yos, then they tried thee 10yos, no takers, moved on to the 11yos, and so on till they finally found your SD...

Softball teams here have ages ranges and here a 13 year old would not be on a team with a 9 year old. But, softball ages do not necessarily follow chronological age. Depending on where her birthday falls she could be softball 12. If you Google 'softball age chart' you can figure out her softball age. Here a 12 year old can play with a 9 year old.

However, if by some miracle the team does really well, and she is actually softball 13, and that is out of the age range, the team could end up forfeiting all of the games she played in.

This is so...completely in line with your sd.

If by some miracle she is the "best" player (I still doubt it even if she is older!) it will be really bad for you and the bs you wil .

Don't fret, the chance is small. Your sd is far too lazy to be the best.

LOL, it is def in line with my SD and BM.

You're right she will not even be the "best" because she has no motivation.  Also, they can't even practice in person or play b/c of shelter in place and other guidelines so they are practicing "virtually".

It will be interesting to see what injury she gets through virutal practice Wink LOL
