I for LOVE my pets and take good care of them but why would I NOT decorate just b/c my cat would get in the tree?? I just can't imagine not putting up all my xmas decorations just b/c of a pet? I can't imagine telling my kids that sorry sweetie but we will not make the house like xmas b/c the cat will get in it.

I will not disappoint my child like that. I am dumbfounded when I hear this. Make the pet mind or put it in another room something but don't disappoint your child b/c you are lazy and don;t want to deal with your pet!

we had words fri night before the boys got here and I think he FINALLY understood that it wasn;t about ss16 braking the mirror or getting the ticket really. But more about his actions i.e. not telling us he got it and not telling us that ne 'might' have hit something with the expedition. Then him telling his mom that he will not come here and work it off.

It was more of the disrespect than anything. Dh even accused me of being selfish in the fact aht I wanted my car cleaned out which was why i was pushing for him to be punished. :jawdrop:

Yesterday yuck called dh to tell him that ss16 said he will be damned if he will comne here and work the whole weekend for braking the mirror on the expedition and getting a ticket and telling his dad. (Dh planned on him cleaning the cars inside and out for that) Dh was more mad that he didn't tell him and let yuck tell him and to ask about the mirror or ss16 wouldn;t have said anything.

I'm not! LOL I still have ss16 and ss12 along with stocking stuffers and I have to get one more present for my kids.

Then I have to start cooking!
