My ex's wife's ex hubby and my sd15 make for a hectic Monday!!

My daughter called me today to say that her stepmom's ex has apparently died of a heart attack sometime yesterday. She was upset, not because she knew him or liked him but because she was worried about the kids that he leaves behind him, her step family basically.

It is an awful situation but for the most part that man caused so much pain from what I have been told over the years. He hated people. He esp hated his ex wife because she left him bc she didn't want to live with his constant mental and emotional torture and abuse. Gee go figure!!!

Why do dh's and bm's think their kid is a freaking genius or prodigy?

My kids are not geniuses. I know this. I still encourage them to do whatever they want and to live up to their potential! They are all fairly smart and intelligent. Sometimes they don't use it but they are always trying to learn and move forward. I'm proud of them all.

I'm totally flabbergasted that my dh seems to think his kid is so freaking smart. I did point out that she has had some trouble passing classes thus far. Not to pressure her just let her find something that she's interested in otherwise she'll not do well down the road.

Every year the same problem at the same time of year.

I am tired of the same exact issue the same time every single year. It all starts a few weeks before the bdays! My hubby has a bday this weekend. The sd14 almost 15 has a bday on Sunday, My dd21 has a bday on Tuesday.

It's the same every year. The 5th weekend of the month also coincides with weekend. Every year. It's not new.

My son's ex-gf is a maniac. My son and her had multiple break-ups in the past 5 years. And now 2 kids later they have been split up for 6 months.

She's 7 hours away from us which is good and bad. After all the child support court stress, things have calmed down. She put all the crazy stipulations on the visitation. Which the mediator told her was not really going to be enforced. Because it was just silly. He told her to file a suit if she wanted but that they were just there to deal with child support.
