Oh my dear... sometimes stupid, husband

This past weekend DH and I took a road trip. We would get to an area, get a hotel and uber around to breweries- it is kind of our thing. We were at one, we start talking about my kids poor SM who was coming up on being 2 weeks late and how miserable she is. As a joke we sent her twister to play with the kids to get the baby out- the pictures she sent back were priceless BTW! LOL.

Anyway, as conversations do, things twisted around and I said I know SM's baby is going to be like 9 lbs at this point, at least and that is 2 weeks late. I still can't wrap my head around SS15 being 7.5 lbs and like 6 weeks early... DH goes, he wasn't 6 weeks early.

Shocked... I said: On all of the patient history BM always puts he was a preemie.

DH: Right, he was early. 38 weeks.

Me: <eyeroll> 2 weeks early is not preemie.

DH: 40 weeks is full term so 2 weeks is preemie.

ME: (Holding up phone) Earlier than 37 weeks is premature, 37 weeks and 1 day is full term. I know I have seen her stating he was 6 weeks early! I was questioning if you were his father!

DH: Well then SS wasn't a preemie and she is a liar, again. If he was 6 weeks early I wouldn't be his father!

ME: WHY HAVE YOU NOT READ THIS SHIT!!!! Good lord husband! That was one of his factors for him having EDS (that he doesn't have because she lied about everything including him having dislocations that never happened and a false family history of it as well).

DH: I just always skipped past where she said he was preemie because I thought 2 weeks early was a preemie

ME: I need another beer.

Seriously... WWWHHHHYYYY?!?!?!?! I found where she wrote he was born at 33 weeks and printed it out and brought it home last night. DH was not impressed LOL - In my head it was 6 weeks, she is saying 7!

Yet again... there is SS thinking that he was a premature baby- nope dude. You are all good.

(Oh and my kids poor SM had her baby Monday. 22 inches long- 8lbs 12 oz baby boy. She had a horribly traumatic birth that ended in c-section and is still in the hospital. She is going home today though, my daughter is so excited to see her baby brother. I also got pictures of him in the swaddle set that I got them with the matchy robe. He is so sweet!")
