I am so relieved though. DH gave me a definitive yes that he is done with the inlaws. No arguments, nothing. Just a flat yes, we're done.

He didn't really give a definitive answer regarding SD other than we already told her we're going to go to a restaurant next time. However he did say that he does 100% see who she is now and feels like he had to prove it to himself to relieve his guilt. And now feels like he did what he can, but she really truly doesn't care about him (or us) and she really was manipulating everyone. He didn't disagree with me about her not being in the house. He also said that he doesn't think she's gonna even try to visit for quite some time, and I think that might secretly be what he's hoping for.

Oh, also I learned that FIL had thrown MIL under the bus last time he talked to DH and admitted that she deleted us because she just couldn't stand that there wasn't enough pics of SD. And also that apparently everytime she talks to normal SIL she pushes her to confront her dad (MILS ex husband) about his drinking problem from 30 years ago. So I guess it's safe to say she'll be holding the grudge against me until she dies, haha.
