i had been rather absent from this site until the last month or so. it was nothing more than me being preoccupied w being pregnant (and sick), not being able to access at work any longer, and being too tired to log on once i got home. i returned more frequently a couple weeks ago when i got my blackberry and am now able to access from anywhere, at any time. i still dont post much, but even when i had been away, i popped in now and then to check up on everyone and see how y'all were doing.

hi all!! i know ive been absent lately and thank u to everyone who pms me or catches up w me on FB. i have been popping in and reading ur blogs from time to time but havent really had a chance to sit down and let u know how ive been doing. so here goes. i see that theres been some drama here lately, and that makes me sad. i dont know what has all transpired but i wanted to say that we all NEED each other, thats what this site is for--its different things to everyone but bottom line, we all come to this sacred place bc we NEED to. so keep that in mind.

so, we finally got the answer to our modification request for the CS we are receiving for SS15 whom DH has full custody of and lives w us. and the results are....

CS is increased from $350 a month to $765!!!!!!!!!

CAN U BELIEVE IT???!!

apparently, BM is making about $75k a YEAR and so the support award should be over $800, although she gets a break for the overnites w him that she is supposed to have but does not exercise.

bc i cant keep a secret...

and bc Valentine's day and recalling my "story" w DH (thanks, endora!) has my sentimental and all touchy-feely, i thought now would be a good time to announce....

IM PREGNANT!!!!!!!

yep! just 7 wks but i definitely am!

it hasnt been as easy few wks...i am sick all the time and exhausted, but hopefully that will only last another few weeks and then i can begin enjoying my prgenancy!

we FINALLY got the grades

and they are AWFUL. i mean, if SS were MY kid, i probably would kill him. just kidding of course but he came down in everything. has like 3 Fs!! i told DH how its gonna be from now on--NO CELL, XBOX, TV, NADA. EVERY nite that kid is gonna study EVERY subject NOW since he doesnt have a B in anything. and that DH HAS to STICK W IT. and wkends arent fun break time from studying anymore. they need to be utilized STUDYING.

i do feel bad for DH...he said hes so disappointed. i said what do u expect??? the kid didnt study, of course he failed his exams. UGH.

not getting ANY CS now :(

so a week or so ago i posted about the CS review we put in for SS who DH has custody of. they changed the amount at first, then while we away said a discrepancy was noted and that we wont get the additional but will still get the original amount. then we stopped getting the original amount but got the excess bc when the state sent the letter to BM's employer, it said a change TO $160 a month instead of AN EXTRA $160 a month.

im off to pittsburgh!!!!!!! woohoo!

tonite dh and i will be leaving to head back home to PA to spend a week w my family and friends! i am so very excited i cant even stand it! i am so homesick for my family rite now and i am just so anxious to see them all and return to da burgh as an old married lady for the first time! so enjoy the rest of 2008 w ur loved (and not so loved) ones and i'll talk to u next year! big hugs everyone! i'll miss u all! xoxo, bella Smile
