Is it wrong not to bring step kids to MY family parties?

Hi - Just a quick question. When we are invited to my cousins kids birthday parties, Superbowl parties etc - is it wrong to not bring the step kids? My fiance is mad that if the party falls on a weekend when they are there I make him stay home with them. To be honest on my weekends off if I'm going to a family party I want to enjoy myself and not worry about what his 3 dirty kids are doing! What do you think? He says that since we are a "family" I should drang them too. Not for nothing but I think its wrong to show up with 3 extra mouths to feed WTF! .................

My fiances & his ex wife have 3 children. The kids are not properly taken care of and even my 6 yr old daughter has asked them why they smell, don't brush their hair, wear dirty clothes, etc. Well BM is off to her BF house every weekend leaving the kids with who over else is home to watch them (She has multiple family members living there). She is now prego with twins! :jawdrop: Now she is already bitching she cant do stuff and when my fiance is on the phone she feels the need to give him an update on the babys stauts! Just disgusted!

Every Other Weekend Prison Sentence!

My fiance & I has his 3 kids every other weekend. We have my 6 yo daughter full time as her father is not in the picture. We both work full time jobs etc. When it comes to my daughter I handle 100% of her parenting duties. I do not ask him or expect him to drop what hes doing to pick my child up, watch her etc. I have always enjoyed the fact that I have one child and being able to do activites every weekend. When we have his kids I feel like I am serving a prison sentence!

Hi Everyone! Im new to the site but already love it. I am engaged to a wonderfull man but am having an issue coping with his 3 kids- I figured this would be a good place to vent!I have 1 daughter age 6 from a previous relationship. He has 3 kids with his ex wife ages 8-14. We had the kids this weekend. The come oonstanlty come over dirty, with no clean clothes etc. There mother is never home with them but is currently knocked up with twins and the list goes on!
