Dear Valued Users,

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.

This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.

We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.

Stan Lee has Passed/ SS16 devastated

Stan Lee, the Marvel Comics genius and real-life Superhero has passed. He was 95.

He was my SS16's hero. D did numerous school reports on Stan Lee over the years, even portraying him as a Wax Museum figure once. SS16 is devastated and is mourning. But we are working through it.

On facebook when DH posted about Stan Lee's death; up pops BM...'Has anyone told D?"

Listen, Woman....you have broken his heart...don't act like you care over THIS! I got my son's grief. You go play house or whatever it is you do every day. Leave us alone.

Honestly so am I

I am too. Being we are a HUGE geek family; we are all devastated. I will admit to quite a few tears. I met him a couple times; he was the BEST.
