Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

ETA: Yes, I know this makes me big sappy wussy.

I really don't like these kind of shows so I don't watch it. But apparently a scene from last nights episode was shot up the road from me in a nice subdivision in last nights episode. They put some kind of gate up when they were filming last year and it was cool to drive by and see them in character standing around. Anyone watch Rectify? They just approached a family member to film in her house.

Re the pics of the twins:
One twin is on the bed completely gutted by a walker but showed no sign of struggle. They are inferring that the other twin ate him. The other twin was about somewhere and Ty was trying to put it together

Chopped bodies might be the result of the next group of bad guys they have to fight
I think when Ty went first he was trying to maybe shield Noah from the shock of seeing what had become of his family.
We all know poor Ty always folds like a cheap suit.
I didn't hate Ty, but I
I didn't hate Ty, but I always knew, I just knew, his sentimentality would get him killed.
Note to other characters: do NOT become Judith's nanny. You WILL die! LOL!
You too eh? I love this show,
You too eh?
I love this show, but now I feel like I am watching the second season of "Rome" (Gotta kill off all the main characters because the show is going off the air soon)

It's reality. That's how it'll be when the ZA actually arrives. The strong survive and the weak die. Except when they don't. Life isn't fair and Karma's a bitch!
All the BMs will survive. I just freakin' know it.
If it were reality, the group
If it were reality, the group would have run out of gun ammunition three seasons ago....Seriously, Army logistics should take a few pointers from Rick and the gang on how to stay fully stocked.

I actually told my son that Tyrese was going to be the next to go. Once he didn't take care of the guy at the cabin and let him live, I knew he didn't have it in him anymore. When he was telling Sasha about it at the end of the episode before, I just had this feeling he wasn't going to come back. My son thought I was wrong so he wasn't happy when he had to admit I was right last night. You know how teenagers are. They are always right.
What really caught my interest was all the cut in two walkers. What is that about?
The group has several really weak links right now. If they don't get to a somewhat safer place, I think a couple more will be lost. Just don't let it be my "Carol."
Carol is my girl! If they let
Carol is my girl! If they let her die, I'll be pissed! I'll have to take the week off from work to mourn. My boss knows this and is completely on board.

From what I've heard - the next "group" or "antagonist" etc is going to be worse than the governor. However - that's based loosely off what's happened in the books. I think it has something to do with the radio stuff Tyrese keeps hearing about "radicals" who are taking matters into their own hands and slaughtering innocent people.
If they introduce the comic
If they introduce the comic baddie they've been hinting at, he makes The Governor look like a lily-livered, yellow-bellied, sniveling little girl in a frilly pink tutu!
