Got SS1's medical records and it says he was referred to a physical therapy clinic since he was sitting on his own at 9 months of age. A week plus after the referral the clinic called BM, since she did not call them first, to schedule an appointment. They left BM a message. Another week plus later BM calls to tell them there services are not needed.

Shouldn't BM have told BF about this? Someone said this along with BM not telling BF that SS1 has been treated for asthma could be considered medical neglect. Anyone ever have this problem?

PRONTO that states that your BF is entitled to be kept in the loop regarding SS's health issues (and school and other issues in the future). If he has the doctor's phone # and address he can contact them or go there and show them the court order and they would give him the necessary info, like appointments, SS's medical bills, SS's medical standing, medicine doses, etc. BM should have to send the medicine with SS. This is only fair because he's paying her child support. You can also consider showing the court order to the doctor's office and they could supply you with the info, and if BM doesn't send the medicine, have the medicine sent to your local pharmacy. SS should not have to suffer because of his mother's selfishness. You might be better served by showing the doctor's office the court order and getting the info from them, as opposed to having to deal with the BM, who sounds very selfish. You might have an easier time getting the info from them, a neutral party. And if BM doesn't send the medicine, your BF can have his lawyer send her a nice letter Smile
