Had my interview today - horrible experience.

Today I had my store manager interview for the fashion company. After 2 weeks I finally found he right outfit. I was being interviewed be a recruiter and an assistant manager - red flag number one. The recruiter asked all the questions and it's more of an interagtion of past work experience. Some of her questions are fashion related. To me all this seems irrelevant, where's of the questions of; how are you going to increase sales, how do you plan to run operations - red flag two. Then as I am filling out the background info, the two ladies are talking about a camel toe on a manequin. WTF! Unprofessional, now I remember why I don't like working at places that are geared towards superficial people. - red flag three.

I'm sure they will offer me something, but I'm holding out for the tech job. The hiring management seemed her professional there.

Don't work with catty broads if you can help it! LOL Seriously, take it from me. My two biggest clients are 1) a blue-collar, manly industry and 2) a fashion-oriented, feminine-field. Though I love working with the women because I get to teach and that's my passion, I HATE having to figure out what to wear each time I go to their office and having to do my nails, hair, etc. I much prefer using my mind as a techie and wearing whatever I want when I go to the "guy" office. Even though the ladies pay me more, I'd rather spend my time working in the office with men. Less bullshit.

Good luck with the tech interview!!!

The interviewers sound inexperienced. Never seen that on a mannequin ... unless there are now anatomically correct mannequins with pubic hair, clitoral detail ... for Pete's Sake. The entire experience screams young, inexperienced, and unprofessional. Turn that experience around and consider how much you can help this company because there is so much opportunity for improvement. Smile
