O/T need fashion advice for interview
Earlier I posted about hating my job. I got word today that I have two final interviews next week. One as a salaried manager for a big box technology store and the other one is for a store manager of a big box fashion store.
I've been out of the fashion scene for awhile, as I've had to wear uniforms to work these last few years. I've also gained weight with the pregnancy. Does anyone have any interview fashion advice on what to wear? I obviously can't just go in withy my usual 3 piece suit.

Good luck with those interviews. I have no fashion advice since my 2 remaining suits are hanging in the spare closet and I live in jeans currently. I'd suggest to keep it simple with perhaps one statement piece of fashion jewelry. Have fun with it.

Congrats on getting two interviews! You have some leverage now.
That's got to feel good! If you can't go with a suit, could you go with a pretty dress with a blazer over it? You're from the midwest like me, so I know the weather sucks for a skirt...but with some thick tights, you'll be fine for an hour. Whatever you choose, make sure you feel comfortable in it. Confidence comes from being naturally you. Good luck!
I was thinking of my black
I was thinking of my black zip up kinda suit jacket it has white small pin stripes. I was going to pair it with a hot pink, lime green, or neon yellow blouse. Then I was going to wear straight legged dress pants that went to the ankle. Then a statement necklace.

I think that sounds great! I've never been one to wear dresses... ugh, just the thought makes me wince. But I'm a HUGE fan of dress pants and jackets, usually dark (navy, black, gray) with a really bright shell/sweater/blouse underneath.
I'm also not good with scarves or jewelry, so I always relied on my blouse/shell/sweater to make the statement.
Hint: don't know if you live near a Macy's, but right now they have a huge sale on their suits. Your best bet -- always always a classic Kaspar (or whatever brand you prefer, Kaspar's tend to fit me really well) in black or navy blue. Typically they'll come in 3-piece sets (jacket, pants, skirt). Then you have lots of pieces to work with.
One of my friends always loved taking me shopping with her, because I taught her how to make 9 different outfits out of one classic suit and a couple other good pieces.

Yeah, I'll need to spin the fact that I don't dress trendy or keep up on current styles. However, I do know how to run a profitable store and run on efficient processes. Hopefully this company is not superficial and looks for talent then looks.
