Job vent
Now that I have a new job, I can vent about my old job and not be afraid to get fired for it. So I worked for the "wonderful" company of walmart as a salaried manager. I could write a book on what I have see and gone through with this company. Example - grown adult pooped on the floor in front of everyone.
The associates are entitled whiny babies, the customers are interesting to say the least, and there is a lot of office politics. I was paid 10k extra for "combat" pay because I worked in a very scary/poverty area.
So glad I'm moving on to a more conservative company.

It's fun for like a week,
It's fun for like a week, seeing bearded ladies and so on. Then you see things like shoot outs in your parking lot or having to vacate the building because of a bomb threat.
The constant whiny staff gets annoying as well. Right before every holiday there is always "that" associate that whines for hours in the office because they are scheduled and they got kids. Omg, it's retail.
I was in the checkout lane
I was in the checkout lane one time, and the cashier was whining to her manager and everyone else within earshot that her 10 minute break was 5 minutes late. I couldn't believe it, she wouldn't stop. I couldn't work with associates like that.
