Quick tip, when you are left with the skids
I am jumping on here fast. It seems I never have time to get on here anymore.
SO works out of state 4 days a week. Home 3. His skids decided they wanted to come up here even with him gone. SO knows I have too much going on with baby and work.
I specifically told him, when he's not here no people here. Well, he didn't listen. So I text him with every little issue that comes up all day long with his children. They are 14 and 17. He's getting annoyed and I think maybe learning his lesson?
He called to apologize that they are here when he isn't. Finally saw my side of everything even stating, now I know why you used to get so frustrated every weekend.
I'm sure its not a long term change, but nice to hear. Maybe he will be more proactive about them staying at BMs unless he's home!
On another note: WHY the HELL is BM ok with them being with me??? That's what i want to know. She used to be a control freak and would never have let them come to our home when their dad isn't home.

Love your solution, and glad
Love your solution, and glad he apologized! It's ridiculous they are there if he's not.
As for BM, well...two teenagers? Yeah, get them out of my house, LOL!!
I learned my lesson years
I learned my lesson years ago, and that's my #1 rule... if DH isn't here, SK's aren't here. I don't care if he leaves to run to Walmart, SK's go with him (BTW, they're late teens).
Nuh-uh, not doing that evvvvvvaaaahhhhh again.
DH would never have dared
DH would never have dared leave the SDs with me, when he wasn't there. He knows I would have just driven them into the nearest dark forest and left them there! }:)
I am glad you found a way of dealing with this that seems to be working. I expect as the SKIDs are getting older BM doesn't care, just wants them out of her hair.
