Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

Oh, that woman! If she spent half the energy on getting clean that she spends trying to woo him, she might have a chance.
He knows what is most important to her and it's not him. She may love him but not enough to do what she knows she needs to do. Sad. I'm so sad for him.

This really pisses me off. I have to show ID and have it scanned to buy frickin' cold medicine these days.
Have to do the same and sign something to buy Broncaid. And if you buy too much Broncaid in a week, you will have DEA at your door.
It's so ridiculous, all because of meth heads and meth cookers. I hate them.

Thank you. I am proud of who he is becoming.
Seriously though, it drives me insane that I have to ask for sinus meds. For crying out loud just give me my medicine. I swear I won't cook meth. Meth heads ruin everything.
Over here you have to sign
Over here you have to sign for it at the pharmacy counter. If you buy too much in a certain amount of time you get flagged. It's crazy. I didn't even know until BM's exstepbrother asked DH to buy some for him and DH told him "no". I asked DH why he wouldn't buy his ex-nieces cold medicine and that's when he told me his ex-niece was always "sick" and he wasn't putting his name anywhere near any of that mess. I'm too naive to even thought of it.
Oh.my.gosh. That's pathetic.
