Clueless BM

SS finally decided to respond to BM's "Happy Easter" text from Sunday, yesterday evening. He said "Thanks, you too. Sorry I had a lot going on yesterday". Which made me laugh because we didn't really have much going on. We left for my sisters at noon, it was an hour and a half car ride, we were there until 5 and an hour and a half car ride back. Then we were posted at home for the rest of the night. So... he had plenty of time to text her back.

Anyway, she responded asking if he liked his Easter basket "yes, thank you". Then... she screwed herself over AGAIN.
BM-"the pocket knife and muscle milk were 'METH MAN'S' idea. He drove me out to give it to you".
SS didn't respond to her after that. She text him a few more times and he ignored it.

Every time she mentions Meth Man, he goes silent on her. She will never learn that SS HATES that guy.

Oh well, she continues to make her bed.

I am so with you guys on this one. That's why BM always tries to pull the "I AM NOT MY MISTAKES, I HAVE AN ILLNESS" blah blah blah...

Yeah, you are sick woman, but not THAT kind of sick.

That was my EXACT comment to DH, he said "you think those tweakers haven't already driven by our house a million time???". He's right. They have. I am certain of it.

Haha... Yeah... I know. But SS does collect knives. So it isn't THAT concerning. He has asked that we stopped buying them for him a while back because he is out of room to store them. But BM would never know that.

Oh gosh, you are so sweet to me for being concerned. Thank you.

We both do it. Anything I have every posted about has been a general statement. The "I checked his texts" is 99% "WE". I am only left to monitor on my own when DH is traveling for work and honestly when he is gone, I am SOOOO busy being a single mom that I don't even check. We do it when DH gets home or he will do it and fill me in. There isn't much that DH and I don't handle together. The most thought I give BM is when I post here for updates. Other than that... meh, she's a non issue.

The conversations about this between DH and I are literally about 5 minutes per issue. It certainly doesn't take away from anything else in our lives. I still deal with my girls. My oldest is currently EXTREMELY grounded for her grades, DD13 is sick with strep throat. I got myself a girls night out on Thursday last week and had margaritas with my girlfriends. I am good Smile the kids are getting older and more self sufficient, I feel like I am actually my own person again sometimes, instead of "SS's, DD15 or DD13's MOM" which is my normal persona Wink

Truly though, thank you for checking on me. I used to obsess and spend WAY too much time letting her rent space in my head.
