OT-update on my war with infertility or i'm preggers?

asheeha's picture

Had my Frozen Embryo Transfer last Thursday...put in 3 little embryos. Felt pretty regular cramping and twinges a few hours after the transfer until yesterday! Well I was going insane no longer feeling anything so I bought a home pregnancy test and it came out very very very faintly positive!!!

It's really early, but SOMETHING is going on down there! Wahoooo

So pray for me and send positive thoughts my way!

I'm trying not to get too excited, it could still go very wrong but it's off to a GREAT start.

Thanks everybody for all your support with everything! (((hugs)))

If you want to read my first blog about it you can find it here http://www.steptalk.org/node/65367

oh...and I go in Fri for my blood work. And for anyone familiar with the terms I tested positive on a home pregnancy test at 5 days post transfer of three 5-day blastocysts and am scheduled to test on day 8 post transfer.

Ah, so excited for you. What sensitivity was the test you were using? A BFP 5dpt is really good.

I used a first response, it's supposed to be one of the most sensitive...like as low as 20 hcg or something similarly ridiculous. i knew it was highly unlikely that anything would register...i just hope it goes up.
it was very faint...if you weren't looking for it you wouldn't notice it. but still clearly there and clearly pink!

Hey, a line is a line is a line. Doesn't matter how faint.

Are you hoping for twins?

a line is a line is a line

^^^^^^^^ Smile

my dh is hoping for twins...get two for the price of one, and get it all over and done with in one shot! We won't try for more if there are two.

But I'm terrified of carrying 2 babies. I just think it will be really hard on my body. I do think it would be nice to have two and not do this again. I just don't know if I'll be able to enjoy carrying 2...kwim.

I agreed to the 3 embryo's being transferred but if I have triplets I have NO IDEA what I will do. Guess just take one day at a time. Smile

Just sent a prayer up your way!! I agree with Peanut, a line is a line...especially if it's pink!!! So exciting!!

thanks everybody, i'm not telling many people in real life, because they are as invested in this as i am and i don't want them to go through it if it fails. but it's so nice to be able to talk about it. i'll keep you all posted no matter how it goes.

you are the best!

no idea. i know the fresh cycles produced 2 sets of twins. one set was boy/boy and the other boy/girl.

for some reason i have a feeling these embies are mostly boys.

I just know that in 9 months you will be snuggling your precious little Snowflake Baby!

Congrats! If they were five-day blasties and you were 5dpt, wouldn't that be like being 10dpo? If so, I would say the line was legit. I got a very faint positive this last cycle at 9dpo.

All sorts of good, sticky vibes headed your way!!

y'all are giving me warm fuzzies today! it's a great day for the embies to settle in and get cozy! Smile
