Spending time with bs10 and ss17.

Today b.s. and I are having a date with his older brother at the arcade and lunch. Such a great young man. He found out he got accepted at the college of his choice..he wants to be a chemical engineer.

He is tired of his dad's b.s. so he has not been going there as of late so this is how the boys get to see each other. Today he told me I will always be his step mom, not former step mom. I love that kid and am so proud of him! I could have done a lot of things better back then, but am glad I did enough right to have this relationship still.

Sounds like a fun afternoon. Every nice that you make the time of yourself so the brothers can get together.

We had a great time. ss17 is a great guy, he is such a great role model for his brother. He has a lot going on, so if he has any time to spare for his brother I will make it happen. I am friends with his mom so we will do what we have to.

I love the positive posts. This is wonderful. I think that once you fall in love with someone in whatever capacity it is a bond. Falling in love with your stepchild or stepmother and then recognizing that that relationship is separate from anything else is very special. This warms my heart. Your son has a very wonderful brother.
