Not me - but I read online where the Governor of Louisiana has declared a state of emergency. New Orleans' pumps are quite broken so any rain there is going to flood things like crazy.

I'm in central Texas, our county has a tropical storm warning, but we're only expecting to get tons of rain and wind. Probably will have flooding...which seems to happen a lot around here... Sad

I have a friend named Harvey who is in the path of Harvey. He was just here visiting a few days ago and he and his wife went home to this.

Lol Lamb. I am close to Houston and I think all we are getting is some rain.

He used to have a house at Crystal Beach but it got wiped out 10 years ago or so, forget which hurricane. I grew up in Beaumont. Never had one when I lived there.

Stay safe!

A lot of nicknames there (Blowmont, etc), but I had a heck of a lot of fun!

I am about 70 miles east of Houston off I10. We are watching the reports but hopefully just get rain. The big laugh here is Jim Cantore is in Galveston lol! Gotta find a little humor in the midst.

I lived in Houston when Alicia (category 3) hit in the early 80s. It was no big deal. Downtown - where I worked - was shut down for two days before the weekend. Nothing like the chaos of Katrina.

Not saying that Horace might have some bad effects in Texas - but I don't think most of Houston is in any real danger.
