Boundaries and BM's

SASX's picture

Apparently the latter thinks the former does not apply to her.

Allow me to explain. I think I am finally calm enough to be able to explain what turned me from a sane rational human being into a foul mouthed, ill tempered, bitch on wheels last evening.

Since DD joined my family SO and I have had precious little personal time. Neither of us is keen on the idea of sleep overs when minor children are present and since DD is now always present in the home, personal time together is at a premium. An hour here or there at best and those time are very few and far between.

Yesterday we had the opportunity for 3 glorious uninterrupted hours of 'personal time'. He dropped the fskids off at their BM's at 6pm. DD was at a friends house and I was not due to pick her up until 9pm. Three blissful hours we had... and boy oh boy did we intend to make the best of them!

Apparently while SO was driving the fskids to BM's house he left his phone at home. Shortly after he dropped them in her driveway and left she must have tried to call him. She left no voice mail, his phone will chirp if someone left a message until it is silenced or the message is retrieved. We meet at his house, the clothing hits the floor, cue the late 70's music and personal time begins. Please understand, at no time did his phone (which was sitting on the kitchen counter) chirp.

When it comes to personal time, SO is not the "only in the bedroom" variety of partner. Picture in your mind the following scenario: You and your DH/SO/ Boyfriend in the middle of intimate relations, in the middle of the living room floor, both of you enjoying yourself quite a bit you yourself are within seconds of being "there" when you suddenly hear the sound of a Key in the door, unlocking it and the front door open.

I turn around and look and there stands BM!!!!!!!!!!

Mood kill in 0.00001 seconds. Ladies and gentlemen I came unglued. I said many things that I meant, but likely in a far more undignified (gutter trash/ghetto) way of speaking than what I would normally have in expressing my EXTREME dissatisfaction with her walking in, uninvited. Not just walking in but unlocking the blessed door and letting herself in!!

I don't know who looked more shocked at my outburst, SO or BM.

Dumb bitch actually tried defending her actions. That would be when SO finally got off the floor, snatched his key out of her hand and shoved her out of the apartment re-locking the door, plus the chain lock once the door was closed.

Issue solved? No, she called the cops because SO pushed her out of the apartment. Lots of uniforms and stars a few minutes later. Bright flashing lights. SO and I got dressed. Deal with deputies who end up writing BM a citation for trespassing. She parked her car outside the apartment complex since she could not get through the traffic gate and walked into the complex. One gate only at the front of this complex, his apartment is in the second to last building. Realistically, the stupid twat walked nearly a half a mile to do this!!

Her reason? FSD has a key to her dad's apartment, so after school she can let herself and FSS into the apartment since SO works for about 3 hours after they get out of school. The key is on a clip that she hangs on her book bag. Normally on Fridays when she gets home, she lets herself in and hangs the key on a hook by the front door. This Friday she forgot. She realized once she got to BM's that she still had the key, BM 'tried to call' and since SO did not answer, decided to drive/ walk and deliver the key to him. Why is FSD not allowed to have the key at her moms house you ask?? Because SO was afraid BM would just waltz into his home one day like she owned the place. Hmm, I am thinking he can see the future. With instincts and gut feelings that are that accurate, the man really needs to play the stock market.

So, by the time the deputies leave, it is too late (and we are both too pissed) to resume where we left off. So, it has now been almost 2 weeks since out last brief period of personal time... god only knows when the next opportunity will present itself and I am sure now that her hand was smacked again by SO/ the deputies the BM drama will commence again!

Seriously, any one want this BM? Free to a good home! SO is willing to bet she will file papers in court this week in an effort to not drop the kids off Sunday. What she can attempt to come up with for justification is beyond me, but so far his gut has been right 99% of the time with her.

I can't stop laughing.

If she was just dropping the keys off, why didn't she knock?

I hope your SO changed his locks. She may have made copies of the keys before going to the apartment.

He contacted the front office and explained. They will be changing his locks today and he has to pick up his new keys at the office before 6.

That is seriously over the top and she deserves to have her retinas scorched by seeing you and her former doing the nasty.

I'm sorry to be laughing, I know it's not funny when crap like this happens. But she sounds like my BM. I think they believe boundaries only pertain to "other" people and not them.
A few months ago, my SD called the police on us at our home (instigated by BM). Minutes later BM pulls up in her black navigator and comes running towards us, SD and the police. The police told her to get back in vehicle and they would be there to talk with her in a few minutes. Dumb ass shakes her head yes and keeps walking towards us. The cop looks at her and says "Get back in your vehicle, this is not an option!"

So what does the bitch do? She gets in her vehicle and proceeds to call the police station to talk to the supervisor because she didn't like the way she was being treated!

BM's like that are not even on the same playing field like us SM! BM's are a unique species I must say!

***FLASHBACKS***

OMG, that is terrible. I can't believe she had the nerve to call the cops after SHE let herself in to his house. What an idiot.

So, about 3 months after DH and I started dating we had our first night alone. It was not often that my ex took the girls overnight, and I intended to take full advantage of this. Ex had the girls overnight on a Friday at my request because I was leaving early the next morning for a softball tournament out of town. Ex didn't know that DH (who was just a BF at the time) was on my softball team, and was staying the night for the first time. Ex at about 630am let himself in to my house (formerly our home together, he apparently still had a key). But not only in to my house, he went all the way back to my bedroom and walked in. Yeah. Crazy a-hole. DH and I were NOT asleep. I was livid. DH was embarassed. And Ex was mad, hurt, crazy and more than anything proving the point as to why we were no longer together. He started to get violent. Mind you, my DH is 5'7" 150 lbs soaking wet. My ex, 6'2" 250 lbs, on a skinny day. My DH stayed in the bedroom while I was in the kitchen screaming at this idiot for walking in to my house, and my bedroom. There was a window that showed the reflection of the kitchen that could be seen from the bedroom. Ex grabbed me by the arm and I have never seen DH move so fast... he flew through the dining room in to the kitchen and hit Ex harder than I have ever seen anyone hit in my life. Ex fell to his knees. DH very calmly said "get out, and don't you ever show your face in this house again".

That was a fun morning.

They were at Ex's house with his mom. They were having a garage sale, so he was coming over to get some of his stuff out of my garage that I had been asking him to get for months. That's why it was so early in the morning. I am not sure WHY he didn't just go in the garage and get what he wanted. And WHY in my room??? I don't know. Just being nosey I guess because he didn't think I was there. My car was not out front, I had had too much to drink the night before and we left my car at my sisters house. DH's truck was parked on the street. He had no idea anyone was home.

Holy CRAP!! :jawdrop:

Then she called the police??? She got a citation yay so whatever she tries to file will be thrown out.

Sorry you had to go through that. she knew what she was doing you know that just to cause trouble. I sure hope that the judge sees that if she files anything.

That was NOT her key and she knows that heck the police knew that.

But man your bm is WHACKED!
