Quit scheduling crap on our time!

My SS's BM has planned for SS to go to a horse show this weekend and is asking if BF can just pick SS up Sunday morning instead of getting him for the whole weekend. SS is in a summer enrichment camp also, and will have to be back Sunday night so he can go back to school Monday morning.

The agreement has always been unspoken that on Mother's/Father's Day and parents' birthdays, SS spends the entire weekend with that parent even if it falls on the other parent's weekend. He just spent the entire weekend with BM on Mother's Day this year when it was supposed to be BF's weekend by the rotation.

I just don't think it's fair. I feel like BM continues to push the envelope on these issues to see how much BF will let her get away with since she knows he is trying to be as nice as possible so she won't screw up our summer vacation next month to Florida.

I would NEVER do something like this to BF if we were to split up. She just drives me crazy!

and your BM sounds like a crazy person! I don't think she can legally do this! Do you have a court order?

The court order states that the parent is to get the child at 6:00PM the day before the holiday to 6:00 PM the night of the holiday. So BF will be losing 14-16 hours of court-ordered time with SS.

Fathers Day is just that Fathers Day - Let me guess BM has a husband or a BF, she wants your SS to spend the day with

It control and yes PAS

BM has no one in her life...no companions, no friends, no one. Just SS.

Is there a way that you could have SS for the whole weekend, but DH takes SS to horse show on Saturday? And then Sunday, he wakes up at your home, and then Monday take him to his camp?

Sure, then she runs off and disappears with SS when we're on our way to pick him up on the way to Florida next month. She's done it before, she'll do it again...

Actually I think that she did that on Father's Day a few years ago...I can't remember what special day it was in particular but I'm pretty sure it was Father's Day when BF went to pick up SS and found a note on the door that they were gone, no one knew where they were so not to bother asking anyone to help him find them.
